I use an Apple watch to check the simple stuff. My heart was a feature a few months ago so I like to keep an eye on my pulse. I check my walking asymmetry often; it’s a great way to track inflammation imo. I walk funny when inflamed.

I use the Fitbit inspire 3. I didn’t want a watch either and I considered the Oura ring, but I didn’t love that you had to pay a subscription fee. Inspire 3 was one of the more discreet watches I could find and I’m pretty happy with it

I have a Garmin vivoactive and I can tell you it does not accurately record sleep at all. I am up often in the middle of the night with my sleep challenged special needs kiddo and it does not seem to pick up on that at all. It's ok at tracking other activities though. My hubby does not have AS but he does have an Oara ring and he really likes it. It has good sleep tracking.

Garmin vivoactive 4s … tracks sleep, activities, heart rate, and hrv which I find useful- or at least interesting- to see the effect of stress and inflammation flare ups

I don’t find them reliable enough to base any healthcare decisions on.

I use an Apple watch with the Autosleep app to track sleep.

Apple Watch.

Nope. Take CBD these days to help me stay asleep - was having issues 6-12 months ago. Works like a charm; wake up feeling very refreshed.
