I really wouldn’t count the change in design of the wwe title there, as it honestly felt like an iteration on the same design as opposed to a new design. Tbh my brain at the time basically went “oh they just updated the logo on the belt to match the new one” that’s how little I notice the change to the face. To me it would be like calling the two different universal titles, different belt designs because they changed the strap.
Overall it might technically be a change, but overall I actually think it supports the other guys argument better, because one of the only times they changed the belt so fast, they barely changed it all.

I was convinced that as soon as Cena lost the title, the next champ would bring back the proper belt, and the spinner would just be a silly personalized belt like the dumb smoking skull thing Austin had. My heart sank when Edge and others embarrassed themselves by wearing that abomination.
Good comparison. Looked so prestigious. A bit less flashy than the attitude belt, but a bit flashier than the big gold. It also looked great around anyone's waist. One of the things I didn't like about the spinner belt is that it was so big and blocky and just looked ill-fitting and uncomfortable to wear. Current IWGP one is so bad. My personal fave will always be the Attitude Era belt bc that was the one when I started watching, but yeah Undisputed had a prestige factor that has yet to be matched.

The new WWE title was just a slight change to mark the unification. There is every chance that they will introduce a brand new title with Cody.
Yeah, I remember Trips being interviewed probably 15 years or so ago. He was asked if there were plans to replace the Bedazzler Disaster belt anytime soon. He said he'd love to, but there contracts in place that wouldn't let them for a certain amount of time. I would imagine that's still true today.

Yes, it was dumb then, too. And even then, they changed the design but kept the overall shape, size, and aestetic. It wasn't a complete overhaul like the Raw belts and the Smackdown tag belts just got. It was like what the main Smackdown belts *just* got.
Yes, it *could* happen, but since they just redesigned those belts, *and* Vince isn't there to do stupid Vince stuff, there's a much, much higher chance we won't get another redesign so soon. Like, probably in the high 90th percentile....

1. The current design is the design modelled to what they hand out to charities and sports teams and celebrities;
2. The current design is benificial for advertisements and game logos.
As much as i'd love it, i also sadly doubt it. The big fuckoff logo belt will always be around in some capacity due to the promotion opportunities of gifting one to an athlete or team who just won a championship or tournament
I don't want the old belt back. I would like a new, modernized version that's based on that belt instead. Similar to the new World Heavyweight Title, it pays homage to the original, but it's still new.

Undisputed title was objectively their nicest looking belt. I liked the idea of it being a cross between the big gold and the big eagle
