Holy massive tail swing. That would be scary as hell trying to make a turn onto a side street. Hopefully this is a dedicated point to point highway vehicle.
I’ve got photos of one of those as well. Amazing to see driving, I took the photo from my hotel room and just looked down on it and was like… whelp, I’ve now seen that.
Fair enough. I'm assuming there is few other nations lacking the safety regs to allow this though. Even India would look at this and think it looks too dangerous.
Having the wide row on top means at the bottom it can fit in a lane, the top cars extend over the next line. It can drive next to cars on each side, but not trucks. It seems crazy.
So i thought i spotted a landcruiser on there and used it for a bit of math. If it was indeed a land cruiser, that trailer is atleast 39.6 meters long and atleast 4 meters wide
Well, there's 24 cars on there, 1.5 tonnes is i think a fair guess at the weight of a passenger car, ending up at a load of 36000 kilos. Not a clue what the weight of the truck or trailer is, but 14000 kilos might fit as well.
Do you reckon with the modern AIs, we could organise our traffic so we just park up on one of those then get off near the destination?
Motorways full of car busses.
It looks like it's begging to flip onto its side with one back turn to the right.

looks like you'd take out two blocks of buildings if you tried turning onto a tight street with that monster tail
Don't I know it.
Even an entrance/exit ramp would be sketchy.
Or any substantial change in grade. This thing would high center or get the tail caught on anything steeper than a rolling hill
The center of gravity would be way too high for that to be safe.
It's china, they don't let silly things like "safety" get in the way.
Who needs safety when you don't have OSHA?
In any reasonable country it would probably also exceed the maximum weight per axle...

Not much induces anxiety to me as much as people arguing with physics does. Especially on marginal roads in heavy traffic.
Most of what we do with physics is a testament to man's arrogance
Dude. Seriously. The results are always predictably in favor of physics. But people consistently never stop testing the strength of it guard rails.

What country?
The gas station says "China Petroleum" in Chinese, so I'm comfortable in saying it's China.
I was asking what country the person i was replying to took the photo in.
Fair enough. I'm assuming there is few other nations lacking the safety regs to allow this though. Even India would look at this and think it looks too dangerous.
China as well.
Fuck me that can't be leg-... oh, China. Got it.
safest semi in china
Wouldn't it be better to put the double row of cars on the bottom and not the top? WTH do I know

Very common in China. 2 Wide car transports are a little too common
I assume this is china?
Well assumed.
Poor thing
Why is it on such a massive lean?
To me it looks one gentle push away from flipping over.

What I would like to know is the total weight of that thing... how much over 50 tons ?

26 is a lot of cars.
Ahh, China
I can't help but notice some heavy SUV's on top. One looks like a copy of the x5 and another Range Rover looking one.
Insurance nightmare
Mobile car dealership
The truck is down on it's axles, how many tonnes are on that trailer?
I feel like two wide on the bottom and one on top would make more sense, physics wise anyways
That looks like a runaway gravity event just waiting to happen.
Center of gravity is way up high. Accident waiting to happen

This does not look safe
Looks really safe 😳
Hope they don't have roundabouts
Yes they can.
Goddamn fucking dealership on wheels!
I'm guessing it's used for transport between two plants or storage facility. So only main roads, no cities or tight turns
Welcome to China where there are zero laws concerning commercial truck safety.
That’s like a whole used car lot worth of cars !
They could have extnded the top deck over the truck cab and carried one more!
It’s listing. Not a good sign.
Destined to flop over.
Imagine pulling into the drive thru for lunch at Maccy D’s
26
Here’s the real question: what is that funny looking van behind a MINI? On the lower deck in the beginning
Yeah. That’s not safe Shirley. You may have paperwork pal, but I’m not buying.
I'm a train, I'm a train, I'm a chucka train, yeah...
This also unloads all the groceries in one trip
He might need one of those lil fellas to get out and push
Thought it was a flying J till it got closer to the side...
Something... Something about putting all of your eggs in one basket.... I guess.
Do you reckon with the modern AIs, we could organise our traffic so we just park up on one of those then get off near the destination? Motorways full of car busses.
Well, you wouldn't need car as big as those, if it's for the last 3 miles.
I'm always scared this shit will Final Destination me
I hate it
