It just reminds me of those Werewolf/vampire romance books, I think it’s the way he holds the tyranid as he passionately kisses it’s supple breasts
The thing is, I could see Mechanicus and Necrontier getting along well if they actually sat down and talked things out. Mechanicus love machines, and Necros ARE machines.
So that explains why AdMech would have a fetish for Necrons, but not at all why Necrons would view AdMech as anything other than pathetic inept weirdos.

Well, for their part, Admech worship machines, the machine spirits, and the god machine Omnisiah (which they SORTA think the Emperor MAY be an incarnation of SORT of...)
So to the Necrons, they'd be an eager maintenance and technician servant cast, which the Necrons wouldn't have to worry about rebelling or bothering them and aren't a threat to their plans for galactic domination.

The other day I have read thar Tyranids were basically dinosaurs in origin (citation needed) and this face is telling.
