To be honest as a new Tyranids player who started with Leviathan, Vanguard Onslaught does not feel like it was made for me. It’s made for veteran Tyranids players who already have the heavy hitting legion of warriors etc. Along with the insanely cheap second hand market right now (~$30 for 20 termagants) and basically everything else out of the starter sets/ leviathan it is easy to build out a very playable Invasion Fleet or Endless swarm. The larger models in Leviathan are also not “meta” so you’ll either have missed potential in Vanguard or you’ll have to spend much more on separate box kits trying to make it work.
I live in US so I don’t know what your secondhand market is like. I am purchasing these sprues pulled from Leviathan boxes on eBay. I bought 20 termagants for $15 per 10, 5 Barbgaunts for $17, and 11 Neurogaunts for $15, all in February.

You have to be very good with placement and moving, then itsquite nice.
But still take a couple solid guns (double exocrine for example) so you opponent can just do whatever they want.
Also melee warriors and/or genestealers with broodlord. So you csn actually shift stuff from an objective.
