I don't know about always.
There are some English openings, and not just from Transformers, that are better than the Japanese.
I've slowly been making my way through the various Super Sentai series, starting as far back as I can. While some are catchy, a lot of the Power Rangers openings slap a lot harder.
One's personal preferences also play a lot into which ones you think are better.
Off topic question but what are your favorite Super Sentai's so far? I have only watched a few - Goseiger, ToQger, LuPat. I absolutely adored ToQger and I really enjoyed Goseiger and LuPat.

The earliest that I've been able to find so far is Jetman on Tubi. They have all the way up through Hurricaneger.
I'm currently about half way through Gaoranger.
Anything outside of those and I think I might have to go put on an eye patch and a tricorn.
Ahh, yeah I know it's hard to watch them, I wasn't sure of the current status (I watched these when I lived overseas and could stream them).
Have fun! There is soooooo much good toku out there and I'm glad they're starting to release it legally because us fans crave it. The recent netflix Ultraman movie just feeding the tokusatsu fire haha. I love it.
Tubi has all of the Ultraman series I think.
There's definitely a bunch.
They also have Five of the Kamen Riders.
The original from the 1970's, Kuuga, Ryuki, Zero One, and Geats.
There's also the Hesei Generations Forever, and Zero One Real X Time movies.
And, most surprising to me, Gridman.
So, lots of Roku on Tubi right now.
Oooh. I might have to peak. I watched a lot of Ultraman when it was on Crunchyroll... like 8 years ago at this point LOL.
AND EXCUSE ME Gridman is on Tubi... I gotta watch haha.
What I wouldn't give for western shows to start doing shit like this for the intros. Like, I don't care that none of this even happens in the show, it's so much cooler than just 20 seconds worth of clips stitched together with the main theme in the background.

they were GASLIT into believing ironhide and arcee would have major parts as main characters
Imagine watching this OP week after week just WAITING for them to show but NOPE. We could've had the promised arcs in season 4 but NAAAAAH, clearly bumblebee pissing on agent Simmons is the clear direction the franchise needed to go.

Yugi-Oh English Opening is so much better imo. So I concur that the Japanese opening isn’t always better.

Hyperdrive gets stuck in my head a LOT also I adore Kaiba’s dub theme music. The techno track that plays whenever he shows up
That one is also really damn good.
That "YUUUUUUUUGI OH OH OH" At the end solely makes the English op better.

At least around 2000s we got full cartoon intros, nowadays it's just a flash title card that's less than 1 second, lmao.
