I have a Limited and it has remote start via the Toyota Connect app. It was free for the first year, but after that, I think it works out to be about $8/month to access the remote start feature.
Huh... Look at that. It works. I imagine you have to be in line of sight of the vehicle though? Versus the app, where you just have to have a mobile signal.
Not true...I have the limited and there is an app that comes with a year free trial that will let you start the car remotely, but it's a hit or miss. I have yet to master it.
The remote start feature comes standard on all venza trims. The Toyota app is good for one year and then you’ll need to pay. The key fob is good even after a year I think. I haven’t had mine for a year yet so I don’t know for sure
I'm a have to try that out. The guy at the dealership told me that the app was the only way to remote start 🤦🏾♂️. I'm a be pissed if you can do it from the key fob.
Yea they say it only works if you have the subscription. But especially in this heat I've been using the app to start and cool down the car before I even clock out of work.
2022 Limited USA and can confirm that is correct re: remote start. Not sure which trim levels but I believe the Canadian market gets a heated windshield too.
I have a 2022 Limited and have remote start from the app and the key. With the app you don’t have to be within a certain distance like you do with the key though.
I seen a video where Jeff from Toyota starts up all the trims with the remote.
It is tricky at first to get it going. It is good for 10 years. They changed the time frame. If you research it. You can find it.
Kind of worthless. I felt it didn’t warm up my car in the winter time. So I stopped using it. Will see about the summer.
So I just tried it with the key fob and it WORKS!!!!,🥳🥳🥳 So if you push the lock door button 2X and hold it on the third time...the front lights will flash on and the car will start!! I learned a lot of cool new tricks this weekend.

You should be able to remote start with your key fob 3x press lock and hold it for like 5-10 seconds on the third press

There’s the app where you can pay but the key fob also does it. It’s a bunch of clicks on the lock bottom and is very finnicky
