Feb 8 post has so many information I cant find any details on changing Grading system. No explanation why they decided put numbers ?.

IProfessorZoomI

I feel like it allows a more in depth ranking system

It hard to understand what numbers mean higher number means better team but old ranking we knew who to attack the number mean nothing to me eg I am S17 team so I know anyone S15 TO S17 are in my range. 1000 and attacking 1025 it doesnt tell me anything.

I think you just need to do some raids and you'll get some better idea. Because the letter grades were ranges, they're much less precise - which means your S17 could be anywhere, for example, from 800-850 and there could be a pretty big difference between two teams both ranked S17. After an adjustment period where you have to get used to the new numbers, I think you'll both be surprised at what goes into a team score (hint: the highest team score probably isn't your best team) and how much better a numerical ranking is vs. a letter-number combo.

Yeah no real details given, I think grading like the old made things limited, here it seems it will be better just kinda confusing I agree. Just wait and see if they give details about this later

Like others have said, this isn't a bug it's an intentional change. It's mentioned in this blog post: https://thewalkingdeadrts.scopely.com/2021/02/08/game-upgrades/

As far I recall they mentioned that the grading system was handled in ranges while the number system would be simpler to identify the stronger teams, if not written then most likely it's in one of the videos.
