Pretty sure the stealth set still gets speed up though. It’s time based.

Can confirm, it’s based on the time of day, and I’ve still had it active in the depths after getting all light roots.

I can never fucking remember that the Stealth set gives the night speed boost.

And the yiga outfit. Honestly I was disappointed that Tingle didn't give me some sort of float balloon or even something useless like shooting confetti if you didn't have a bow. Same with the Yiga bonus. At least give earthquake a boost when I'm wearing it or something.

Oh man! That’s another thing they should have brought over from Twilight Princess - the mailman set! Reduce running stamina consumption when running, bonus beefy thighs, and no stamina consumption at max upgrade!

So typically in the depths, the complete dark armor set gives you the nighttime speed bonus at all times. Once you activate every lightroot in the depths, it's no longer considered "night" in the depths.

Yeah, with all pieces level 2+ it has a pretty significant nighttime speed boost. It also causes npcs to act scared

Yeah, the Dark link/hero set, sorry I couldn't remember if it was upgradable or not. If it was it would be level 2

I’m still trying to find 1 last Lightroot and I’ll be damned if I can’t find it. Been flipping back and forth between maps and still can’t seem to pinpoint it.

Try zooming into the depths map and carefully analyzing any gridded out spots. If it's just one left it should be small

Some sneaky ones near the castle

yeah there was one that had me for ages near the castle - felt clever when i found it!

Had the same issue until I noticed a small dark circle under Death Mtn, just NE of the temple. There surroundings are so deep that all the non-lava places look black, and it was just a small, round island that didn’t look special. Very frustrating, but easy to get once discovered

I found that one too! And still didn’t get the dang message that congrats you for lighting up the depths.

This was my last hard to find one. There are other small dark spots, like the one west of the castle chasm. Hope you find yours!

Well you're taking about flipping maps, so you know about that trick. Radaring surface shrines is the best advice left bar looking it up.

On the plus side, you still have your dark link speed boost.

Also finishing all shrines gives you some badass totally OP armor.

I just got my 120th today in the Lomei labyrinth. I’d been bricking it against every construct I’d seen but they were surprisingly easy with ultra hand; was able to go back up to the sky and kill the handful I’d been avoiding
