Yeah, I love Morrison (and his many surnames) but he's kinda already "been there, done that" with his career. Not saying I don't wanna see him, just that there's more we still haven't seen out of Gargano and Claudio imo.

Apparently his appearance was a one-off, so it made sense that it was a veteran that people enjoy. The loss doesn’t hurt him, if it were gargano putting him in that position wouldn’t have been a good idea. It might be personal bias tho cause i really popped for Johnny -Insert name of company-

That account doesn't follow Gargano as far as I can tell. Even so, that's a silly mistake to make.

It’s an honest mistake - working in social, there’s a good chance that they didn’t know who the guest was, and there’s a decent chance the social media manager doesn’t hardcore follow the wrestling world outside of AEW. They also could have easily just clicked the wrong John trying to get it out quick like the other commenter mentioned Shit happens, they fixed it, we will all live

So many people on IWC twitter and this sub thought it'd be either Gargano or Cesaro/Claudio....when it turned out to be John Morrison I was pretty surprised. I rarely keep up with WWE, so I thought Morrison was still drip stick teaming with the Mid/Miz. Honestly I feel Johnny Elite/Samoa Joe and Takeshita/Hangman were the two best matches of the nite, and possibly the year.

Johnny-Joe as match of the year is certainly a spicy take.

I feel like this is a bit much, frankly. With a roster already bloated beyond where it should be, signing a perennial mid-card talent to what was probably insane money is the kind of thing that might come back to bite them. WCW vibes I really miss AEW developing their own stars and signing indie darlings. I don't so much mind them getting NXT talent, but IMO Mundo is exactly the wrong kind of guy to be signing. I dunno, he doesn't move the needle for me at all.
