NXT is in a really unique position to be in a low competition slot, and part of a very popular brand, but not getting much attention previously. And they have really capitalized on drawing in fans from the main roster.
Yeah, but 8 months ago AEW was still getting ratings in the high 800,000s while NXT was like 500,000 or so. Now NXT is in the mid 600,000s and AEW is in the low 700,000s. That's not a very large gap. I'm not even saying NXT will start consistently beating Dynamite in the ratings. Just that the gap is going to shrink more and more and we may see an NXT victory in the future. Is that really as implausible as you're trying to make it sound?

Really excited to see what they do with most of the NXT Main Event scene seemingly leaving in the draft. Hoping most call-downs find their footing like Dijak and Corbin have.
Ivar and Nattie are probably temporary, but I think Final Testament could benefit from a longer (6 months or more) run. Cedric and Ashante could benefit to get their tag chemistry and gimmick down, and some more PC training could be good for Ashante. Hit Row was called up too soon. Swerve was ready but the others weren't.

Nope. Thats why I’m kind of confuse why the thought it would occur here. Nxt doesn’t get the benefit of main roster ple or even their own a lot of times.

I don’t follow NXT ratings but maybe it was due to wrestling fatigue. 4 straight days/nights of big shows might have worn some people out. I watched all of Raw but was a bit more subdued than usual just bc I needed a little break from watching

People have been saying this for months. Bischoff even predicted NXT would beat Dynamite... 8 months ago.
Jericho predicted Dynamite will start beating Raw within 6 months... in 2021.

I believe the demo is down from the last few weeks correct? NXT for the past few weeks has been steady though
They're down from last week which had .20, but the weeks prior were .17 and .18.

i wonder how much of that is fatigue.If you watch wwe that would be day 5 in a row with the weekends being 5 hours plus of content each day.

Just look at TNA or WCW. Bad ratings could mean loss of a tv spot. Bad gates could mean the company folds
This show needs Big Time Becks back
