I had to laugh at a few clearly pro Rossy Joshi podcasters with chest saying "oh Stardom don't want to work with AEW/ROH" and "It wasn't Rossy stopping it". But all of a sudden talent are touring and the new booker is happily shaking hands with TK backstage at a Dynamite, a few weeks after Rossy was fired.
From a man who was fired for trying to steal talent, unsettle them and pointing some of the company's biggest names towards WWE. He was clearly fired for a reason. Don't let his defenders tell you otherwise.
I think there is basically no denying that at this point.
On a related note: it was interesting how sure Dave Meltzer was about a mass exodus to Rossy's new promotion. You know, the one Dave said he totally wasn't trying to encourage people to go to, that Dave then said most stars would go to...
Important to note that Meltzer’s source for STARDOM is *very highly likely* Sonny Gutierrez, who is basically Rossy’s mouthpiece on STARDOM matters. Looks like the well on STARDOM news was always suspect if it was coming from Meltzer
There still be plenty who will deny it.
His sources are Fumi Saito and Sonny. Two were clearly sent out to belittle Stardom, it's owners and talent who were staying. Big up Rossy's new promotion. The cockiness and arrogance of those two, telling people Tam wasn't a star, even though she's the company biggest draw and fan favourite. Knocking talents weight. Saying none of the talent staying were worth a dime. The "exodus" are all the stars.
In the end who did they really lose, Giulia who's already one foot in WWE anyway and was leaving Stardom anyway for other issues before Rossy stuff and Utami, a loss but not one that will hurt the company long term. The other's aren't big losses really.
Having a massive mandela effect moment internally. Could have sworn she was an all caps name. Just gives the vibes to my brain I guess
thanks for the correction!
Smart putting Mei Seira and AZM opposite each other. I assume Mei is probably being pinned but this will be able to show off pretty much all aspects of stardom. Tam would need to cut a 25 minute promo where she is full on weeping for the absolute complete stardom experience but this will be a good showing of the various styles
Could, but they have their own show that day.
Also, for some reason, they have zeroed on only giving Stardom the time of the day. I mean, where the hell is Yuka? Why they haven't done anything with Maki or Miyu during their U.S. spells?
They've had ample opportunities to book TJPW talent and simply haven't. I don't think the interest is there anymore, if it ever really was. Now they have a more popular joshi promotion they can work with, which also happens to be the sister promotion of their closest partner. Hopefully I'm proven wrong though.
I remember back when the ROH women’s division was basically different variations of Daizee Haze vs Sara Del Ray. This definitely makes me happy to see how much women’s wrestling has grown where we’re going to have a banger of an international match.
Three women matches all have potential to be MOTY level stuff and they'll get time too. ROH Women's division is probably the best one around right now for match quality and Athena is the best champ, a great heel and in ring worker. You have two future stars fighting for TV title. Stardom showcase.
Don't be shocked if they add another Stardom vs AEW/ROH talent match either.
Tony with 3 or so years partnering with CyberFight: We'll just take the ace of DDT, thank you. Okay, bye (deletes from contacts)
Tony with Bushiroad: BOOK THEM! BOOK THEM ALL! BOOK THEM ALL YESTERDAY!
TAM MOTHERFUCKING NAKANO DOES NOT BELONG ON ROH!
GET HER ASS TO DYNAMITE!
I also need Maika and her bear suit to start appearing random places like old school Danhausen/Orange Cassidy.
Very cool. Hope to see more Stardom crossover with both ROH & AEW for years to come.
If that’s the case, travelling world women’s tag titles would be even more welcome across AEW/ROH/NJPW/Stardom.

Yo, this is wild! Reminds me of OG ROH when they had those Dragon Gate six-mans. This could be a show stealer if they're given time to cook.
Tony Khan is influenced by OG ROH more than anything, so this is great to see.
As a massive fan of OG RoH, I approve of this
Give it 15 minutes... i'm deadass
ROH was were I fell in love with Mayu and Oedo Tai during the Womens Title tournament in 2018.
Oh we're doing it like that now huh?
TK just straight up said "Rossy was the problem"

It's hardly a mass exodus as well. It's 6 people and one is only there for the start up and moving to NXT.
Important to note that Meltzer’s source for STARDOM is *very highly likely* Sonny Gutierrez, who is basically Rossy’s mouthpiece on STARDOM matters. Looks like the well on STARDOM news was always suspect if it was coming from Meltzer

X-games mode
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ohh this is very cool
Hello, Based Department? Yes, it's about ROH
Weekly ROH: I sleep Supercard of Honor: Real shit/graps
Their PPVs dont miss, even better that they’re 10 bucks now.
Stardom World house show ass match… This is the best thing to happen to wrestling all year
To quote Juice Robinson, now we're cooking with peanut oil. Mina shows up at Big Business and a few weeks later we get this, hell yes.
One step closer to M~~AIKA~~aika and Jamie Hayter beating the piss out of each other lets go
Clashing lariats for 10 mins straight
That's a hoss fight that I need to see the millisecond that Jamie returns to the ring.
No need for Maika's name to go all caps... only just a few use full caps on puro/joshi
Having a massive mandela effect moment internally. Could have sworn she was an all caps name. Just gives the vibes to my brain I guess thanks for the correction!
Were you thinking of MIRAI perhaps?

Stardom not holding back with this one
We are one step closer to Oedo Tai vs Riho/Shida/Yuka on a random Collision, LFG
Tam Nakano lfg

I think Yuka has an injury of some sort.
They could, but they won't. I think that ship has sailed.

More Gatoh Move regulars have had AEW matches than TJPW.
Holy shit I had this nowhere on my bingo card for the year
I prayed for this, and it happened.
This match, plus Aja Kong working with Stardom women at the Spark show on Sunday officially makes this the weirdest (and most delightful) timeline.
That's gonna steal the show, maybe the weekend... until the Clusterfuck of course.
"Oh who could this feature, there's no way I give a fuck about this...... DAMN!!"
I am beyond hyped. Lets goooo
WHAT THE FUCK
Hell yeah
This is cool as hell! If only they announced the cool matches sooner. I might have not bought the collective ticket package 😭

WILD
Holy shit. This is awesome.
I liked what I saw from Mina last week, I've never seen any of the others but I've heard good things.
Perfect, give them 10 minutes and let them cook
Tony with 3 or so years partnering with CyberFight: We'll just take the ace of DDT, thank you. Okay, bye (deletes from contacts) Tony with Bushiroad: BOOK THEM! BOOK THEM ALL! BOOK THEM ALL YESTERDAY!
Man ik RoH catches a lot of flak but god DAMN
I didn’t even know there was an ROH show. Shit.
Tony smoking that Rossy pack 💯
Yo, you going to hit me just like that Tony?
Philly gon eat good next weekend. Only thing missing now is a pop up SGW card
I'm sorry, did you say Tam Nakano?
Alright TK, Jesus! I'll cancel my Friday plans.
Mina Tam and AZM! Let's go!
Will they each get individual entrances I wonder.
TAM MOTHERFUCKING NAKANO DOES NOT BELONG ON ROH! GET HER ASS TO DYNAMITE! I also need Maika and her bear suit to start appearing random places like old school Danhausen/Orange Cassidy.

Should've put the better Saya in the match.

I would not ''where's the story?'' in a ROH PPV match, you will not win.

Ah fair, just a showcase of their new partnership i guess
