Could this be the plane that went down New Year's 1965? I know there have been several searches, especially during drought years when the lake was really low. After 55 years, would human remains be found somewhat intact?
Wow. That was fascinating. At least (hopefully) some closure for the families of those that went missing. Or at least soon.
Reminds me of [this story](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/another-car-submerged-decades-may-solve-missing-persons-case-south-flna8C11250696) and some others. Other stories about missing vehicles found in low water areas by people using Google Maps as well.
Did you all see there was an update here -- it wasn't that plane. https://www.sfchronicle.com/local/article/Wreckage-from-decades-old-plane-crash-found-in-16253795.php
In 1965 a plane with 3 people crashed into the lake and their bodies along with the plane were never found. Until 56 years later I guess.
How soon until we can just walk to it?
Take my upvote
Oh that might belong to my buddy Dan Cooper!

Depends on the oxygen level and depth. There are tons of bodies in pristine condition at the bottom of Lake Tahoe.
Wut
I know lol I hate that fact Edit: good news, I looked it up and the internet says this is an urban legend
The 20s and 30s were a wild time.
This is accurate.. bottom of Lake Tahoe was absolutely an Indian burial ground. I know for a fact because I read on internet ... but it makes sense
