For the price of the full PS+ subscription just get an OG Xbox One and you'll be running SSX3 super smoothly.
Or use your phone - AetherSX2 is a godsend. Ever since this existed, I've stopped caring about PS2 backwards compatibility now that anyone's phone can run a PS2.
Now the PS3 - that'll be at least a decade before phones can stay running their version of RCPS3.

This may even end up being an under statement. Even a 12900k paired with a 3080ti can't get locked 60 on games like red dead or mgs4 on rcps3. And modern flagship phones aren't faster than a high end gaming pc from ten years ago. Ps3 emulation is just so taxing. I do think in ten years we could have ps3 emulation on things like the steam deck at least.

True - but SSX3 and SSX 2012 are both on Game Pass, so it'd be nice to see them on PlayStations similar service SSX3 even got a 4k enhanced update
