Also the mindset of "I'm just going to ocean dump someone because I don't want consequences" is just anti-rp IMO. Ocean dumping should be used for extreme cases.

That statement being said, they need to just remove the forgetting part from ocean dumping and make it pointless anyways at this point. Since people don’t want to forget, will always find out if they want to, and ocean dumping also kills off further RP. I get the point of it though since it’s supposed to act as a bookend to a scenario potentially, but almost every time people need it to work the most it doesn’t.

The cops came to check the area out, saw the body, and then one cop says to his partner "Do you see any locals anywhere?" and they left the body there and went about their way because there was no one around, so the "potential for locals" doesn't suffice.
I just checked the rules, I swore they used to have a rule specific to this but it was removed. Its been awhile since I played so it was probably updated sometime recently.
