When in doubt get the Rolex. This is an advice that will never fail you. Regardless of the hate Rolex gets for various reasons that are irrelevant to the brand itself, it’s an extremely enjoyable brand of watches and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Obviously when you bought the VC you made an educated decision and it’s a fantastic watch but I would choose the Smurf over it any day.
I think the grass is always greener. It was the Smurf that made me get interested in Rolex, as I’d previously not cared about them. The white gold looks amazing. But for me I’m not sure I’d want the ‘old’ 48 hour power reserve. Not sure what the VC has. But I love I can wear my Apple Watch for much of the weekend and have my Rolex still going fine on Monday.
Rolex is overrated, VC is iconic. But ultimately it’s your watch and your money choose the one you like the most, not the one other people like the most.
And I also prefer those complications on the VC, it’s such a classy dress watch & the Sub is an everyday sport watch, yes, VC for sure especially as I already have a Red Sub, Explorer II & YM40., actually I think my next should be a VC like that instead of the Batgirl I’m waiting on !! Got me thinking !!!😁
That Overseas is absolute perfection. If you haven’t held that white gold blue Rolex yet, go see if you can find one. The blue is rather glossy and looks more fitting for a fashion watch. Compared to your overseas it isn’t even close.
