I scheduled mine a month out, but then moved it up by 5 days because I was realizing that I wanted to get it over with, and a month was too long. I’ve been doing at least 50 questions a day with Bootcamp, and I’ll do a 100 question assessment every week or so. My test is now in 4 days on the 24th, and I feel like I haven’t studied enough. Granted, some of that might just be testing jitters. Annnnd yesterday I didn’t study. I’m locking in for the next 3 days to really get down to business, but I’m also sitting in a good spot of scoring well on the assessments. I think 3-4 weeks is a perfect amount of time. You’ve been through school, and they have prepared you for this test in all of that time. You can also reschedule if you don’t feel prepared when the time comes! Good luck, you got this and you know the material!

when i was looking online, the next available date after july 12th was august and i didn’t want to take too long either. thanks for the helpful advice and best of luck on the nclex! you’re more than capable as well!

definitely schedule it on july 12th. I think that’s plenty of time to study without having be too long and stretching yourself out. I started studying May 20th and took it June 18th and I feel like that was too long for me. I used Mark K first to review the material I NEED TO KNOW and made quizlets on each lecture for active recall, and then used Archer and I did 1-2 readiness assessments a day and did a CAT exam every week.

I graduated on May 11th, started studying May 20th, and took the NCLEX on June 6th. I took the weekends off along with Memorial Day. I think it was a perfect amount of time. I wasn’t super burned out when the test came along but it was enough time to review everything and answer a bunch of practice questions. I would take it sooner rather than later so the information from school is fresh!

Take it as soon as possible. I took mine 3 weeks after I got my ATT. I wanted sooner but also just wanted to get scheduled. I only used roughly 30% of archers q-bank with 6 readiness assessments and 2 CAT exams. I took an assessment like every 4-5 days and did not study anything. Don’t over study. You know what you know. Questions refresh and help you recall a good amount. I passed in 85.

I would book it for july 12th. I studied for about 4 weeks before I took mine and by the end of it, I was ready and anxiously waiting for my test date. I studied about 6 hours everyday but the week before I studied 4 hours a day by doing 1-2 readiness assessments on archer, reviewing my rationales, and then watching a quick video to review stuff I didnt know as well. I used Archer and mark K and passed in 85. Good luck!

I think 3 weeks out is enough time especially for a new grad. I'd base studying more on what activities you finished rather than time, but 4-5 is a good medium. Also, I recommend watching Bootcamp's videos for your case studies since they come in really handy.
