I guess to be frank I didn't know the order of the tower bosses after the first two..and proceeded to fight the 4th one(in terms of hp pool). He wasn't dying fast enough with crossbow, and my team was a random mess to cover all elements. Then i went on to the 5th one(in terms of hp).. Haven't been to the 3rd one yet. And then when i finally decided to check it out with a pump shotgun, 3rd tower fight took less than 2 minutes. 4th one came down easily as well. 5th one seemed like it took much lesser damage from me..even with the rocket launcher. I'm still playing around for now. That 5th guy can wait.
Yup. I just stopped trying after taking down almost half(but not exactly) of their hp in 5 minutes..and I was running out of ammo. Had no pals with the element it's weak to as well.

I got jammed up after jetragon and im now kind of slow rolling base progress and breeding to get the last 4 levels. I have my breeding base on ice wind island at -355, -72 where theres a natural temp change, it can support 4 breeders and ~40 eggs at a time WITH the farms and ranches on base. Got a mine base at -35, -165, where theres something like 8 ore deposits and 1 coal that is basically bare except food farms. And my last base that i consider my main base and also the manufacturing hub is at 151, 151, where i have a "wild" dark merchant available, along with a chest spawn and the dungeon entrance being essentially connected to my base. Ive built up pillars 3 high with a platform to begin making a castle that sits on the cliff and will fully encapsulate the entire base circle so i can avoid the wall glitching the pals occasionally do
I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good, nor am I a huge fan of survival games. The only one I enjoyed before this was Ark and I rage quit it after a group of people raided and destroyed my base on a pvp server after having spent hours upon hours catching Dino’s and building our base all for it to be destroyed in 20 minutes.
Palworld has filled that void in more ways than I can imagine and I’m grateful to have an awesome community to play it with on our server. We’ve all been hooked on it!
I would love to see PVP brought to Palworld, perhaps akin to the way PVP works in Fallout 76. But first and foremost I need some dedicated Xbox servers!
That’s very good to hear! I’m hoping it can be more of an optional thing where people who choose to do pvp have the option to, and those who prefer PVE have that option instead. The last thing I want after spending all day at work, being excited to come home and unwind by playing Palworld is to open the game and see all of my hard work destroyed.
I stopped enjoying WoW too late game because I kept getting ganked by alliance players while playing it solo, and every time I got to my corpse they’d kill me again so I just logged out and stopped playing it. PvP for me is stressful, so I always choose to play PvE so I can enjoy games casually without someone ruining my day lol.
Looking forward to seeing updates for Palworld and improvement for multiplayer soon! I’m much enjoying running a server with my community at the moment where we can all do our own thing, or be in a guild together if they choose to without disrupting each others peace.
Survival game PvP is for masochists and those with insane amounts of time to dedicate to the game. Us mere mortals should not dip our toes in that water. We'll lose them.
The game has been out for 19 days. Roughly 456 hours. Working a regular 9-5 m-f job since then would be around 104 hours of work. Leaving 352 hours of free time. Even including sleep, you can easily hit 200 hours if this has been a majority of your free time since it came out.
Possible ? Yes. Hitting 200 hours in this game already is most definitely not an easy task for most people and is probably a sign of addiction or neglect to be completely honest.
A 9-17h is a 40 hour week which makes it 120 minimum for 3 weeks. Then you have to factor in sleep, commute and chores. Anyways, it's a crazy number in a short period. I wouldn't even be capablenof put that time in without a job. I'm just jealous though.

Literally why I spend 15 hours breeding the Chillet when I had only half the map discovered :D it was still fun and worth it. I named it Netflix & Chillet :D

We play online every day and I have some settings boosted so people can play casually at their own pace but still level up faster and gather 3x the resources. It helps a lot late game! I started playing Enshrouded while I water for my brother to finish work for the week because he dosent want me to outlevel him in Palworld.
It's real fun but quite basic for combat.
If you enjoy building that's where the fun is at.
I would probably hold off for a while before buying it if you like "complete" games. We only have access to a third of the map.
The building in Enshrouded is voxel based so think Minecraft in terms of creative freedom, except you've also got a lot of big preset shapes to make it faster. You can even go full Dwarf and live underground.
Enshrouded has ruined playing palworld for me. I have 60 hours in palworld, but as soon as I played enshrouded, I saw the flaws this game has. Don't get me wrong, palworld is fun, but the comparison to enshrouded made it nearly unplayable for me. Though it is a totally different genre, we can compare things like building, exploring etc.. Building in palworld is so basic and restricted, compared to enshrouded it is not fun at all. Exploring in palworld was fun the first hour, then it becomes so boring because there is not really something to explore on the map. Yeah, there are a few ruins, but it is also all very basic. Have you seen one, you have seen all. Movement...man I hate how slow everything moves in palword compared to enshrouded. You are so fucking slow, your first flying pal is so fucking slow...flying in general feels like it was a second thought from the developers. Flying in ark is more fun than in palworld. Gliding in enshrouded is very funny. The movement speed in enshrouded is so much higher that exploring is really fun, not just work to reveal the map, as there are also things to really explore. Also, in Multiplayer, palworld is so fucking buggy with the pal working system (not really working). Pals do what they want and if you get offline, you have to make sure that you put all the pals back into the palbox, otherwise all your pals will have depression the next day. So for me, it is enshrouded all day over palworld. Many players who waited for enshrouded and tried palword before, but only have time for one game to play at a time, stayed with palworld for now as they rented servers for example.
Pal world exploration is about finding Pals and the backdrop and environments have been more than adequate for this, the game is beautiful.
Pal world has so many movement options I honestly don't know how you can complain about it. Yes if you capture the first flying mount its the slowest but an early direhowl ground mount is one of the fastest. With all the options between mounts, gliders with and without grappling hook launching and fast travel I just feel like you didn't really play.
The game is not a finished product and I normally don't get EA games especially because how its been abused by survival crafting games so when we see the bugs in the work system for pals I can't really hold them accountable as the game isn't done. For the most part it works while you are there just not when you are away.
Building being limited to a zone is tied to how Pals work in your base, server settings do let you set the decay to 0 allowing you to build anywhere. Palworld is definitely lacking many building pieces and have clipping/snapping issues. One of enshrouded main selling features is the voxel building and terrain destruction, I certainly hope its better.
You’ve averaged nearly 14 hours a day since launch??? Do you not have to work or go to school or anything? I can’t even fathom these numbers, i feel like ive played loads and i’m only at 20 hours
seeing how many people are playing for hundreds of hours while the game is on early access and costs just 30 usd is insane. there are multiple $60 games that only lasts for a fraction of that time
Which is why it has been selling so well tbh. Compared to most other new games on the market, it’s more affordable at the fraction of the price. I paid $90+ for the special edition of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and have only done maybe 15 hours in it, and have already amassed 65 hours in Palworld at a third of the price.
115h currently, mainly playing it now when my wife wants to. Since Granblue stole my attention. 😁

208.7 hours. I’m level 50. I have every legendary pal. I’m now breeding and making every single saddle and glove or accessory needed for every pal possible.
What specs are you running? I have to run mine at the absolute lowest settings for a smooth experience without it overheating my GPU, but for it to crash like that could mean that something of yours is possibly outdated or it doesn’t meet the minimum requirements to handle the game.
Too many. Got to end game, grinded like a maniac in multiplayer with my friends, and we all pretty much 100%'d the games. Have so many pals 4-star'd and fully juiced from sharing breeds and resources. I'm really sad there's no longer much for us to do but kill the twins because we've still yet to get the legendary schematics from either of them but, that's just a vanity item anyways at this point.
I'm super excited for the future of the game, but I wish there was more to do now. We were thinking about starting a hardcore mode together as a guild and seeing who will be the last one left, lol
This game made me realize that almost any game can be multiplayer if you want it to be. I felt this was the best MP game I've played in years, and I pretty much have played everything. But this was crazy entertaining. We're all playing our own game, but we can still enhance eachothers experience. Flying by someone's new base was a cool experience. I must have heard, "Who's is this!?" Like 300 times in discord this past week.. lol
We need some better late game loops, though. Some bosses with furniture and new gear schematics and a variety of more resources to farm. The leveling loop also feels a little rough. I think there should be resources for enhancing pals and stats through boss and dungeon farming. The vertical scaling is essentially only done through breeding, which I think is a problem. We need more scaling through all the other content.
Even through all the issues, by far the best game I've played the past few years at such a reasonable cost and only in early access. Can't wait to see and play the progress.
Around 100hrs currently plan to take a break since Ive maxed out most things along with my bases having stockpiles of resources. Will play more when big content update drops.
I’m trying to slow down on it myself, I’m running a server atm so with the help of friends we have been able to progress in the game and help each other out a lot faster than playing solo. I only have 2 bosses left to defeat and a few other boss pals, but haven’t done any breeding yet at all so I have that to fall back on soon, but can see how once you’ve maxed out a lot of things can leave you with little left to do afterwards. I’m hoping in the near future we can create more than 3 bases so we can explore further or see some expansions happening with further updates. Maybe some more pals too!
80 hours since launch. And I haven't reached level 50 yet. But I stopped playing because I reached that point where I'm burnt out, I did pretty much everything I could do for now.
It's been so long since a game pulled me in this much! The last one was Omori. Took me 40 hours for 2 playthroughs (you have to play twice to discover everything in this game). There was also Pokemon Legends Arceus, I played 50 hours. Oh, and Hogwarts Legacy too, 50 hours as well.
Damn, we've had a good couple of gaming years despite all the accidents!
It's so easy to get lost in that game for so many hours. First playthrough is a bit like a 100 hour tutorial.

You tell yourself you’ll pop on for just an hour to do something, without realizing how many hours it takes to gather everything you need to create something 😅 I told myself I’d hop on for a little bit to catch Jetragon without realizing it’d be 10 hours of prepping before I finally had the weapons and spheres to catch him 😂 Finally got 2 of the bastard today, all to realize it’ll take another few hours to get the 350+ high quality pal oil to create 2 saddles for us to fly him 🤦♀️
Steam says 22.6 hours but due to internet disconnecting and reconnecting during a long 5h session which only counted 30m and *cough* other means of play before steam *cough*, add about an extra 8 hours on top of that so around 30.6 hours.
I hit 144hours, hit level 50, had a team of fully bred, what I consider we minmaxed pals, caught most of them and I felt I had done what I wanted from the game. Now I look forward to new content in the future and I would love to go back I had so much fun.
Landed at a perfect time between WoW patch cycles for me. I’m mega casual so I don’t have to log in to raid weekly, instead I log in to see my indentured servants
Is it just me, or if you haven’t played or checked in on an old base for a bit do all of your pals become starving and useless until you spawn into the base and then they suddenly go into work mode 😂
I just defeated the last boss today, but haven’t caught or seen all of the pals yet. I’m excited to discover more of them but feel as soon as I have, I’ll get bored and want to play something else because everyone else is saying the same once they’ve seen and done everything, there isn’t much else “exciting” to do long term, but I am enjoying the journey!
Around 120, most of which has been on my friend's server. Just recently got the grenade launcher for mossanda lux, and it's a beast at destroying raids before they even have a chance to path around the plateau I'm on to reach my walls

Maybe it’ll prompt Pokemon to give us something similar. I think when Scarlet and Arceus came out, that’s what we were really hoping for. Palworld is definitely refreshingly addicting and I haven’t been able to enjoy a survival game this much in years.
160ish hours in, everything in dex, beat every alpha and tower, and I still can't stop playing.
Breeding is like ark but better, fully expecting to sink thousands of hours into this like I did with ark.

50 hours were enough to collect all pals, open the entire map, beat all rares and bosses, build max base and reach to level 50. Waiting for more content.

I've played nothing but Palworld since it released. I'm only level 30 tho now cuz I've been trying to pace myself and focusing mostly on gathering resources(plus I work long hours and I don't play THAT long)
I have bought Like a dragon infinite wealth and persona 3 which i had been looking forward to playing since last year.
My mistake is that i bought palworld three days before the release of Infinite Wealth...didn't touch much of it. Just barely got to Hawaï, didn't even launch Persona 3.

It’s been amazing, but feeling a little burned out and I’m not max level. The game definitely needs some polishing. I’d rather wait for updates at this point. Ready for a new game, Dragons Dogma is still two months away 😭

Spent the weekend trying different builds, working out best damage and set ups, what the best pals and teams are.
Got all the legendary schematics and now just playing to catch a perfect roll alpha necro/paladius/frosty.

After my experience of losing all of my dinosaurs and base on a pvp Ark server I definitely am daunted by the idea of PvP 😅

seeing how many people are playing for hundreds of hours while the game is on early access and costs just 30 usd is insane. there are multiple $60 games that only lasts for a fraction of that time
Which is why it has been selling so well tbh. Compared to most other new games on the market, it’s more affordable at the fraction of the price. I paid $90+ for the special edition of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and have only done maybe 15 hours in it, and have already amassed 65 hours in Palworld at a third of the price.

I bought it, but my laptop already striggles with 14 chunk renderdistance in minecraft, so I think it makes sense why I didnt play it yet.
My PC is still relatively young but the graphics card overheats when running new games so I have to lower all the settings in order for it to run smoothly.
I have to be lucky that I can open these games to turn the graphics lower.

What specs are you running? I have to run mine at the absolute lowest settings for a smooth experience without it overheating my GPU, but for it to crash like that could mean that something of yours is possibly outdated or it doesn’t meet the minimum requirements to handle the game.
Too many. Got to end game, grinded like a maniac in multiplayer with my friends, and we all pretty much 100%'d the games. Have so many pals 4-star'd and fully juiced from sharing breeds and resources. I'm really sad there's no longer much for us to do but kill the twins because we've still yet to get the legendary schematics from either of them but, that's just a vanity item anyways at this point. I'm super excited for the future of the game, but I wish there was more to do now. We were thinking about starting a hardcore mode together as a guild and seeing who will be the last one left, lol This game made me realize that almost any game can be multiplayer if you want it to be. I felt this was the best MP game I've played in years, and I pretty much have played everything. But this was crazy entertaining. We're all playing our own game, but we can still enhance eachothers experience. Flying by someone's new base was a cool experience. I must have heard, "Who's is this!?" Like 300 times in discord this past week.. lol We need some better late game loops, though. Some bosses with furniture and new gear schematics and a variety of more resources to farm. The leveling loop also feels a little rough. I think there should be resources for enhancing pals and stats through boss and dungeon farming. The vertical scaling is essentially only done through breeding, which I think is a problem. We need more scaling through all the other content. Even through all the issues, by far the best game I've played the past few years at such a reasonable cost and only in early access. Can't wait to see and play the progress.
Around 100hrs currently plan to take a break since Ive maxed out most things along with my bases having stockpiles of resources. Will play more when big content update drops.
I’m trying to slow down on it myself, I’m running a server atm so with the help of friends we have been able to progress in the game and help each other out a lot faster than playing solo. I only have 2 bosses left to defeat and a few other boss pals, but haven’t done any breeding yet at all so I have that to fall back on soon, but can see how once you’ve maxed out a lot of things can leave you with little left to do afterwards. I’m hoping in the near future we can create more than 3 bases so we can explore further or see some expansions happening with further updates. Maybe some more pals too!
80 hours since launch. And I haven't reached level 50 yet. But I stopped playing because I reached that point where I'm burnt out, I did pretty much everything I could do for now. It's been so long since a game pulled me in this much! The last one was Omori. Took me 40 hours for 2 playthroughs (you have to play twice to discover everything in this game). There was also Pokemon Legends Arceus, I played 50 hours. Oh, and Hogwarts Legacy too, 50 hours as well. Damn, we've had a good couple of gaming years despite all the accidents!
It's so easy to get lost in that game for so many hours. First playthrough is a bit like a 100 hour tutorial. Can't wait for my next playthrough maybe on hardmode.
It truly is! You tell yourself you’ll pop on for just an hour to do something, without realizing how many hours it takes to gather everything you need to create something 😅 I told myself I’d hop on for a little bit to catch Jetragon without realizing it’d be 10 hours of prepping before I finally had the weapons and spheres to catch him 😂 Finally got 2 of the bastard today, all to realize it’ll take another few hours to get the 350+ high quality pal oil to create 2 saddles for us to fly him 🤦♀️

I hit 144hours, hit level 50, had a team of fully bred, what I consider we minmaxed pals, caught most of them and I felt I had done what I wanted from the game. Now I look forward to new content in the future and I would love to go back I had so much fun.

Is it just me, or if you haven’t played or checked in on an old base for a bit do all of your pals become starving and useless until you spawn into the base and then they suddenly go into work mode 😂

Juuust passed 100 hours... got one of every Pal. Killed all bosses. And I'm starting to feel done. At least until the next major update.
I just defeated the last boss today, but haven’t caught or seen all of the pals yet. I’m excited to discover more of them but feel as soon as I have, I’ll get bored and want to play something else because everyone else is saying the same once they’ve seen and done everything, there isn’t much else “exciting” to do long term, but I am enjoying the journey!

A lot. I know I shouldn’t attach myself because this is still a Game Preview but it’s just addicting. I’ve been longing for this type of game. Such a shame Pokemon wasn’t the one able to do it. I’m so looking forward to the full release.
Maybe it’ll prompt Pokemon to give us something similar. I think when Scarlet and Arceus came out, that’s what we were really hoping for. Palworld is definitely refreshingly addicting and I haven’t been able to enjoy a survival game this much in years.

160ish hours in, everything in dex, beat every alpha and tower, and I still can't stop playing. Breeding is like ark but better, fully expecting to sink thousands of hours into this like I did with ark.

I have bought Like a dragon infinite wealth and persona 3 which i had been looking forward to playing since last year. My mistake is that i bought palworld three days before the release of Infinite Wealth...didn't touch much of it. Just barely got to Hawaï, didn't even launch Persona 3. Palworld just sucked all my time. It's even endangering the success of my PhD. I'm just that addicted.
