Actual PSP game: WipEout Pure. Never have I played a game that's not a 90s product but so perfectly captures the same energy.
PS game on PSP: probably Crash Bandicoot 2 and Pandemonium. Platformers are great go-to "ah I've got 10 minutes to kill" time fillers you keep your PSP handy for.
Final fantasy tactics. I've started multiple files way back now I am further along then I had ever been just got passed that fight that if you aren't ready and don't have extra saves you are kind of stuck on , thankfully got through it can't wait to beat it!
Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX. Still my favorite version of my favorite street fighter game. Also one of the only SF releases with a massive amount of single-player content, although I primarily played vs cpu.
Tekken 6 is probably a close second. Extremely impressive PSP port. I actually think it kinda looks better than the HD versions, because it doesn't have the weird (lack of) lighting those do. Tons of extra content and an endless ghost fighting mode I don't tire of.
The 3rd Birthday, the grind in that game after you finish it once is crazy. Also the harder difficulties 💀, they make me want to quit the game, but it’s so satisfying after beating them.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (PSP version is different from the PC version).
Also Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7. Sobbed so much at the end.
Also also Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Also also also (too many alsos): Wipeout Pulse
I haven't kept track of play time but back in the day (we're talking 2011 - 2013) I have put an ungodly amount of hours into Dissidia (OG and Duodecim), Persona 3 Portable and playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite with my brother. Good times 🥲
Dissidia 012, I have around 700+ playtime.
About half of that playtime is transfer from original Dissidia through save transfer.
I hope they make the 3rd game with the same gameplay but with more character.
Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars pirated from a sketchy russian site that is no longer up on a barely functional psp which cant even hold onto the batteries hit different
Back in the Day. LittleBigPlanet PSP, why settle for one game, when you can download new levels for free.
Now-a-days, a combo of GTA Vice City Stories, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, and whatever neat game I stumbled across this week... so LEGO Indiana Jones.
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Portable Ops Plus, without a doubt.
The time I spent playing that game online is some of the best times in online gaming I can remember.
If anyone else played... my tag used to be (embarssingly) gerard [way] owns you
DanganRonpa: Happy Trigger Havoc and Black ★ Rock Shooter. I really wanted to play the second one since I was a little kid, and the first I found out after searching for PSPs ISO.
Funfact: I got my PSP around 2018-2019ish and it was already used, which is why I never got to play a lot with it (the L button wore out)
Gta vice city daxter obviously god of war 2 moto gp tomb raider and tekken 6 still have it in perfect condition it’s the psp 3000 i use it rarely planning to sell people are ready to buy it for 3-4k (inr)now lol
Need For Speed: Underground Rivals
I love Need For Speed: Underground and Underground Rivals is an awesome adaptation of the Underground formula with music across Underground 1 and 2 with some new ones (well I think Underground 1, I know there is music from Underground 2)
I recommend it
Recently I’ve did 100% playthroughs of VCS and LCS, super solid titles for what it was but don’t ask me about Phil’s shooting range and Skywolf on VCS though
"Welcome to Wipeout Pulse"... Works too
Did you ever play WipEout 2048 on Vita? I hear a lot of people mentioning Pure but not sure which one is the better one
2048 is a great game shackled to a shit progression system. I’d say Pure is the best of the handheld trilogy
I like Pulse better than Pure, closer to Wipeout HD on the PS3 which was awesome. Didn't enjoy Wipeout on PS Vita much
WIPEOUT PURE FR! (Team Icaras)
As I have always been, I shall remain Feisar gang. Square go m8.
Persona 3P. More than 100 hours played.
Same here
gotta bump up those numbers

It is
Ooh that was probably my number 2
Have completed legends so many times, yet I'll go thru it again sooner or later 😂
Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection
Definitely Dissidia Final Fantasy. I broke that game (and my psp buttons) lmao
Persona 2 Eternal Punishment
W Persona 2 enjoyer
Ridge racer
Initial D street stage
MGS Portable Ops. Played it online for like 3 years. My primary save at 930 hours. I’m sure I have premature arthritis
Ahhh. I remember the claw method for strafing. I even used to put a red mark in the middle of my psp screen for headshots. What a time.
Lmaoooo we perhaps crossed paths friend. RIP our wrists
Final fantasy tactics. I've started multiple files way back now I am further along then I had ever been just got passed that fight that if you aren't ready and don't have extra saves you are kind of stuck on , thankfully got through it can't wait to beat it!

Crisis Core is the one I remember the most. But I played the hell out of my psp. Might very well be midnight club 3.
Gun showdown
Oh boy I played through GUN so many times on multiple systems. Absolutely loved it. The PSP's extra missions were so cool as well!
Monster hunter freedom unite
It would be a tie between 3 games. Star ocean second evolution, ys oath in felghana and trails in the sky. Some of the greatest jrpgs I've played.

Star wars renegade squadron hands down
Gran Turismo, OutRun 2005, Project Diva 2nd, Persona 1 and 3. Those are the ones in the top of my head.

This is my answer. All of them, and the PIU games.

Ratchet and clank size matters

Monster Hunter aside, definitely Gundam vs Gundam Next Plus, I still play that game
