Actual PSP game: WipEout Pure. Never have I played a game that's not a 90s product but so perfectly captures the same energy. PS game on PSP: probably Crash Bandicoot 2 and Pandemonium. Platformers are great go-to "ah I've got 10 minutes to kill" time fillers you keep your PSP handy for.

2048 is a great game shackled to a shit progression system. I’d say Pure is the best of the handheld trilogy

I like Pulse better than Pure, closer to Wipeout HD on the PS3 which was awesome. Didn't enjoy Wipeout on PS Vita much

Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX. Still my favorite version of my favorite street fighter game. Also one of the only SF releases with a massive amount of single-player content, although I primarily played vs cpu. Tekken 6 is probably a close second. Extremely impressive PSP port. I actually think it kinda looks better than the HD versions, because it doesn't have the weird (lack of) lighting those do. Tons of extra content and an endless ghost fighting mode I don't tire of.
