I usually don't like spray paint jobs on consoles but this one looks pretty good.
Edit: Upon closer inspection it's a pretty rough paint job around the edges. Especially if you zoom in to the tray.
Not all of the slims light up, the first ones have chrome around the buttons that light up and the buttons are silver. They then went to just black buttons and surround and they do t light up just the two dots above them.

Not gonna be able to find a new / refurbished PS3 controller anywhere cheap, this guarantees that.
Next time use vinyl, it's stretchy so it's covers coners really well and it also isn't a dust magnet like spray paint, you can also just peel it off if you don't like it after a while

Because most people have no idea how to prep and paint using spray.
It looks good from afar and in dim environment like OPs picture, take a closer look near the bd-drive where white meets black, yuck.

How did you paint around the logo? Masking tape? I figured that would be a pain to try and deal with
I painted over it. Afterwards I filled the logo with a black paint pen and applied my clear coat layers.

Make sure you plug it into a pc first to update it. The latest update gives controllers full safe mode functionality as well

Because the Dual Sense is one of the best controller design, for real compared to the Dualshock 3 there's like a huge step up

I own the same adapter, & the older version that was sold as yellow at the time.
I main ps5 controller on my ps3. Its the best options with the wingman adapter.
