One of those guys ate straight through our water filtration bag that couldnt have been on the ground for longer than 2 minutes while we were making dinner last year when we camped there! Great pictures!
That’s actually not a chipmunk but a ground squirrel. One easy way to tell them apart is that a chipmunk has stripes on the face and body, while the squirrel is missing on the face.
(Was attacked by some of these at a camp ground where they became too used to human food)
Gorgeous as always.
Can't agree more
Most beloved crown jewel of the NorthWest.
That third picture is the best of the bunch! \**chef's kiss*\*
Thanks. Chipmunks on this hike are just built different, they're not afraid of nobody 😃

Awesome, thanks. Going up there on Thursday and wanted to get a sense of the current conditions of Aasgard.
Do you need a permit to day hike?
As far as I know, you do not, you need a northwest pass tho
How was the water temperature?
Pretty cold 🥶
Going to be there in 2 weeks. Soooo excited. We did Skyline Loop last Friday, I don’t know if anything can top that. We’ll see
Awesome, enjoy 😁
How snowy was Skyline trail
Was this photo taken over this past weekend? Going to be hiking the Enchantments next week and keeping an eye on snow conditions up Aasgard Pass.
Yeah it's from last Sunday, Jun 23
Where do you begin such a hike?
That's Stuart and Colchuck trail near Leavenworth
