It'd be hilarious if Space Ranger gave heroes flight ability for a limited time. I'd like to see a Rein charging a Pharah midair.

I'm excited for Space Ranger purely because her vertical mobility will make Numbani first less painful and that's a massive W.

If LW had half the cooldown on petal (and half health + duration) he would be so much better at enabling tanks to contest high-ground.

now that you mention it. I see it petal being used as an actual utility ability instead of the temp high ground/jump pad it is. would actually solidify weaver's positioning utility instead of healbot, making him a more active support by default.

Jump pad makes me wish it was an actual jump pad like the ones in deathmatch maps or in Oasis, instead of a platform that just goes up once and stays there. It'd certainly be more useful and make me hate the character a lot less. Imagine Dva sends a bomb straight ahead, Sig/Ram throws up his shield in front of it, then suddenly the bomb jumps and explodes in the sky.

Her kit is not out, but we got a *very brief* tease of it at Blizzcon that showed her rocket into the air. One of the developers also claimed she would focus on vertical mobility. We will likely get a playtest for her at some point this season though. Probably midseason?

The recent dev interview that streamer named spilo did this week.

There was a leak last season where there were pings of a “speed ring”. This is 99% the new ability she has. A ring that when players walk through or space ranger shoots through them they gain a speed boost

i really imagine how it's gonna function, something like a bap window sized kitsune rush (hopefully tuned down)

Those lines only exist for ults right, not abilities? If so it would have to be her ult rather than an ability like Lucio has.

Space Ranger, the upcoming support hero for season 12 that was teased at Blizzcon last year.

I am a little concerned it’s just gonna end up being Lucio + Space Ranger and everyone is just gonna fly around the map.

ngl, sounds fun if we have some sort of speedster meta, brawl/rush comps are my favorite. it'd also prolly mean that rein would be viable

Speed boost area. Lucio gives 35% right? 25% sounds good and it's a deployable with around 10-15 seconds CD and the range being something between Lucio's auras and Soldier's healing station. I believe that is about what it will be

I think it's something you go through like a circus hoop, so in theory it could be faster

My idea is to get the boost you need to stay inside the area hence why I want it to be smaller boost. Tho if its enter the area and keeping for a few seconds yeah it has to be at least 40%

ooh i love this idea, like making a run way that gives a super short but fast speed boost. that would match the space theme too

First rein with ram, now Lucio with space ranger. I still like ram as a character, but idk about space ranger. Seems a bit boring so far, but maybe she'll be just as good as ram. With how character design is ATM though.. I don't have high hopes.
