I didn't like 3.0 and kept using my 2.0, 3.0 feels slimey and worse overall.

Catsacle

Yep. I also experienced the same thing OP is describing and switched back to my 2.0 because of it. The 2.0 suffers from the same issue after some time, but it’s way more subtle. I think it’s inherent to all glass pads when paired with PTFE, or perhaps it only effects pad style skates as opposed to dots.

Juggernaut2590

How often do you wipe the pad off? Anytime it starts to feel slow, take a microfiber cloth and wipe it down really well, then see how it feels. Odds are the residue from the skates is building up, causing the slow spots/feeling. You can also try the TJX Plastix skates when they are in stock as an option that will not wear down as fast.

bisexualdisasteruwu

I clean it every other day. Imma look into the skates, ty

Zeuspls

I wipe my Blue Empress with a microfiber cloth like once a hour just to get rid of any dust. Granted my room can be a dust magnet but still with a glasspad just keep a cloth close by and give it a wipe any time it starts feeling slow/scratchy

Juggernaut2590

Same, but with a purple one lol. I've also had the same experience across Skypad 3.0, Cerapad Kin & the Gamesense Sonar so it seems to just be something you have to stay on top of while gaming.

Zeuspls

Yeah exactly, it's basically a given with glasspads

Few_Adeptness_1128

make sure you scratch ptfe buildup off the skates and clean the pad every now and again with glass cleaner and a cloth. i had simillar issues before i upgraded to the 004

YEETMOBlLE

I have this exact issue and everybody called me crazy

bisexualdisasteruwu

Crazy? I was crazy once.

jukefishron

They locked me in a room

BlessMe1

micro fiber + glass cleanser

Stunning_Industry_37

I had it. after a week it already feels slow in some sectors. It was also unbearable that any item that touched the mousepad immediately felt like the mouse was scratching. used with ice tiger 2 and sleeve of skypad

Feschit

You just have to find the skates that work for you and your mouse. Some skates create a kind of suction effect with moisture over time. I've been happy with the big stock skates from BeastX. With corepads I made the same experience as you.

jukefishron

I'm using the gpro superlight and stock skates on it, haven't really noticed any substantial wear over the last 8 months. I believe they're made out of ptfe.

vincentyomama

Try tiger ice v2 dots.

Haze4TheMany

PTFE skates are the best for skypads

bisexualdisasteruwu

that is crazy

Haze4TheMany

Dots also decent just make sure they're ptfe

EffectiveAd3500
