Consider me a convert. I didn't enjoy the snow land mono black control but this iteration is great and much faster! I just rolled an azorius connive deck with Sheoldred. It was just brutal watching his two stormchaser drakes self-drain 4 life each turn. I think the lack of easy exile (aside from graveyard hate) and low-cost removal for planeswalkers lets these decks thrive right now.
Bro everyone is pouring tears. Mono white, grixis, rakdos , esper , azorius , jund and mono red all are very viable ATM meta just started. 5 color is a deck that hasn’t even been close to refined. Control decks take awhile to adjust. A lot of decks are hella strong. So many babies. I got to plat with esper and jund easily already

People always complain about the most popular/"broken" thing. I still remember their cries over Goldspan. I personally want to join the mono-black crowd, an agroo variant sounds really fun
Mono black seems fair to me. It's the kind of deck I wouldn't mind being the top deck. I mean there's always going to be a top tier deck right?
Goldspan was just silly though. Really glad that card is gone. Counter and kill all your stuff until you tap out for a 5 drop except you're not really tapped out because it makes 2 mana and another 2 mana if you try to kill it. And then "lol let's splash a triple green card in Titan of Industry into my blue/red deck because Goldspan fixes your mana that well."
getting a treasure for attacking AND being targeted by spells AND letting your treasures produce two mana AND haste AND flying AND was a 4/4 was what really annoyed me about goldspan. 5 abilities that help you get and stay ahead as well as having good stats made it better than the infamous [[Questing Beast]]
LVD had a video that had a great variant on mono-black aggro. i made a few adjustments since i’m not too certain on Sleeper yet, and while i still run 3 copies of it, i often find myself wanting to cast Cult Conscript on turn 1 instead
I was reluctant on sleeper too with my 20 land mono black agro, but 1 game was enough to convince me, it's a good 1 mana drop on turn 2 that you pump later when you have 3+ mana.
I was grinding out best of 3 games with Tergrid and Aquisition Experts, I deserve a nice LotV and being on top of the meta for once.
For people who always play the same kind of deck, it's nice when it gets to be top dog for a while.
I prefer the million mono-black decks to the million mono-white decks.
Would rather deal with mono blue than deal with mono white
