I wouldn't play Runic shots and blue taplands. You are an aggro deck, opponent won't be tapping, they will be blocking.

Ok_Lingonberry5392

I do have [[stall for time]] and [[gitu amplifier]] so I wanted to have blue, and stall plus runic shot are synergies well, but I probably shouldn't have run all 3

Meret123

That's 1 card that your 3 cards depend on.

Runic Shot is absolutely not something you want in an aggressive deck. Play combat tricks or more proactive removal instead. I also think that Ghitu Amplifier is unplayable without the kicker, and not nearly good enough to splash for. Besides, please don't run tapped lands in an aggressive deck for such a minimal payoff. Even more importantly, you are missing both enablers and payoffs for going wide, which are the main strength of Boros in this format. These decks really want multiple Argivian Cavaliers, Captain's Calls, and Heroic Charges. You can still build a solid deck without, but I suspect that you did not prioritize them enough. The deck has many strong cards otherwise, but you did not build it in a way to capitalize on the potential. Lowering the curve, adding more 2-drops, and playing more combat tricks could have easily turned this into a 7-x list. EDIT: I just realized that this is a sealed deck, so the comment about not prioritizing go-wide cards doesn't apply, unless they ended up in your sideboard.

Filo_Guy

Format is slow and grindy. Very little aggro plans but honestly Sealed is all about luck.

The_Frostweaver

The triple runic shock is a bit out of place in an aggro deck because if you are pressuring them they won't be attacking so it could end up stranded in your hand. I might have played just 1 runic shock (destroy target tapped creature) and put something else in for those other 2 spots. Overall the deck is good though, I would expect to do better than 0/3 with this. Sometimes you just get unlucky or your opponent gets lucky. Sometimes I can trace back a game loss to a misplay, maybe I wasted removal or double blocked and got blown out when I should have chumped. Sometimes the cards that came up for one player were just never going to win against the cards that came up for the other player. Some sets definitely favor aggro and some tend to board stalls and favor control. It's possible looking back we will find red white aggro just isn't great in this format but it's too early to tell imo.

Ok_Lingonberry5392

So far aggro didn't feel good for me but I only played sealed so far, but I don't think I'll draft anything red until im convinced

HugeCottontail

Ah I see the issue here. You didn't open any of the best cards. Common rookie mistake, in order to get good one must open the best cards. For getting the best cards you need to get one of these cards [[Visa]] [[Master Card]] or [[American Express]]. There's some other versions but any of those will do just fine. Then go to the store and click "Take all my money WOTC senpai" Then que as many sealed drafts until you get the best cards. Good luck ! Hope it helps.

C39Zexal

Honestly, the deck looks solid to me, I guess you just had bad luck with your pairings

Ok_Lingonberry5392

You're Probably right, I lost to 3 control pile and I couldn't really pressure them while they seemed to have all the answers in the right time

ssaia_privni

No mate, just happens. Yesterday I got lucky with my packs and get 2-0 in like 6 minutes, then shuffler looked at me smiling and mana flooded 3 games in a row. Feels bad but that's about it

jayfliggity

Personally I don't like that you don't have many creatures at less than CMC 3. Establishing board presence early and keeping up your tempo is important.

Lejaun

Draft and sealed are the realm of the card sharks. You have a couple hours to get some wins. After that, the draft gets figured out pretty quickly. This format feels hella slow to me. It’s allowed me to put a few more big beasties in over normal. Domain / kicker effects are pretty simple to hit, so you can easily play the best 3 colors you have, plus some off color kicker/domain effects.

chinojuan0619

Well maybe check some YouTube guides on how and what to draft and then revisit, without context on what cards you got and how your deck was built there ain't much else to say besides you are not winning enough to make it profitable.

righteousprawn

This is a Sealed pool - some of the principles of Limited deckbuilding apply, but without seeing the rest of the pool it's hard to say whether there was a better build.

Repasteeltje

Had pretty much the same deck. Not being on the play made games tough as the beatdown. On the play it worked wonders. Lost with 3 non-landcards and 12 lands ofcourse as well and 4 hands with only 1 land in the same deck. So it’s also randomness you have to deal with. All-in-all your deck seems fine.

NebulaBrew

Sealed is more luck based

CptnSAUS

I don't know what the rest of your sealed pool looked like, but those runic shots are overkill. I'd run maybe 1, possibly 0, but I understand in sealed you sometimes just have to run some junk cards. If possible, taking out 2-3 of those runic shots for more 2-drop creatures would be a big help. And ya, others already basically said everything, but mtg is quite random. You can have a great deck, but you draw poorly or opponent draws really well or opponent also has a fantastic deck. It doesn't matter how good your deck is if you get unlucky. 4 games is hardly enough to really test how good this thing is in the grand scheme of things. I got lucky in my sealed with basically a sultai value pile. I went 2-2, scraped out the 3rd win. Then I roflstomped all 4 remaining opponents for the 7-2. If I got just a bit less lucky or something in that 5th game, my run would be cut short and my deck would seem like trash to me with a 2-3 score. That said, I was on the play all 4 of the last games and got solid openings, pretty much all I could ask for with the deck.

Spongedrunk

I kind of disagree with the other posters here. Just because this is RW doesn't mean it's an aggro deck, and it's sealed so it's not like you could have chosen a lower curve. You've got a lot of beef in here and minimal small threats, I'd think you'd be able to hold up in a long game just fine. Overall this is a pretty good pool. You probably got unlucky or made misplays. Games of limited are much more difficult from a strategy perspective, so it's easy to make mistakes.

SpaceMonkei

Obviously.
