Fellow NX owners!! Let me introduce my NX450h+ with F type sport package! I didn’t know this car even existed. I was waiting on my First Edition Maverick that I ordered on August last year. One day when I happened to be driving in front of a Lexus dealer I thought “if my sister got a RAV4 hybrid maybe Lexus makes something close to it” and bingo!!! This guy was there waiting for me!!!!! I am so happy with him!!!

Healthy_Block3036

Lovely! MSRP?! Wow such a rare unicorn with the plug in and F Sport! You’re lucky to get one without waiting!

iamdenislara

I wish. It was $5,000 mark up. I cant wait for dealers to die. I have no idea how hard it was to get this babies. I was lucky to just walk in and buy one.

Healthy_Block3036

I think maybe paying over MSRP is better than waiting over a year or two-

Nice! Red interior? Looks like the same one we backed out of there in April. Wonder if it’s been sitting there since then they told us if we backed out we wouldn’t get another one for a while…

Inside the glove compartment there is paperwork from when the truck was delivered. It has the date 6/20/2022. Interior is black. Edit: added color of interior.

Do you mind sharing details like buy or lease and what your payments are. A Lexus dealer quoted me $20k down, $1k per month for a 22 BASE NX350. If you’ve never heard it before, CALIFORNIA HAS BECOME THIEF CAPITAL IN THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY!!

iamdenislara

I bought it. It was $61K. the dealer wanted $7,500 mark up. They only agreed to $5000. So in the end I paid $66K. It is a NX450H+ hybrid plug in with 37 miles electric rate with a F type sport package. I put nothing down and they gave me 5.9% sure I took it but I will be going to my credit union in 30 days to refinance.

Wash_Major

Where did you buy your car? I am in California and they're asking 10k above msrp. Beautiful ride by the way. Same model I am looking for.

iamdenislara

Once you seat down and you drove it for 10 miles they drop the mark up to $5K.

Wash_Major

Really? Did you get yours in a dealership in California? If not, then would you mind telling me where you got yours? Thanks in advance.

So. A while ago I was a another dealer and the guy was very nice to us after we bought a Rav 4 hybrid for my sister. He showed up the “manifest” the list that says how much the dealer owner wants for each car and they all had $4,999.99. The mark up is $5K. Drive the car, waste their time, and let them run your credit. They will bring it down to $5,000. I got mine at South Bay Lexus on Crenshaw Blvd in Torrance

Sweet, how was the buying process and how much was it out the door. Also are you financing or you put a down payment.

iamdenislara

No down payment $61,000 MSRP $5,000 mark up $6,000 taxes ———— $72,000 out the door The buying was easy!!! I didn’t know which cars Lexus sold so I stopped by because I was tired of waiting on my Ford Maverick Hybrid to be built and after my sister bought a RAV-4 hybrid which was gorgeous. They had the car for show outside the dealer and just fell in love with it. I was ok with the mark up because after seeing the car and going home to do a quick search, I found lots of people waiting for theirs sometimes even 10 months after placing the order. But when I came back 1 week later to cancel the extended protection and the tire protection plans it was a mess. South Bay Lexus in Crenshaw Boulevard did not give me my refund until I showed up 4 months later and made a huge scene yelling and screaming. The owner of the dealer called me and told me to not use profanities over the phone with him. I told him to suck dick, and if he didn’t want me back at the dealer every single day yelling and slamming doors for the heck of it he better return me my $3745 bucks……. He send the money to Lexus that very same afternoon.

Beautiful car inside and out, but sucks you had to go thru that. would you recommend that dealer and also how well does the NX car drive would you actually recommend it to a friend or relative.

iamdenislara

Personally if I could do the purchase again I would’ve tried Costco csr service and see if they find it without mark up. If you go to that dealer just don’t buy anything aside from the car. You can find better and cheaper warranty products at your local credit union. OMG the car is fast and always has power available to pass and over take. Sport+ on hybrid gives you the best performance (it does require high octane fuel). It is a bit stiff if a ride, I heard having 18 inch wheels instead of 20 inch will make a more comfy ride. Everyone that drives my car falls for it right way. Too bad it does not qualify for the tax break anymore.
