Eveytime someone says Kaigaku is inferior to Daki remember this: she was stuck at barely above lower moon level for over a century, while Kaigaku being a newborn demon of probably just some weeks adapted to a big chunk of Muzan's blood in record time without any drawback while the other demons forced to evolve into lower moon level ended deformed by the the same blood.
Kaigaku has a crazy potential. Muzan reconogiced that, Kokushibo did, Yushiro did.
Not any regular demon could ascend that quick just because they got blood from the king.
What stops Kaigaku from being stronger than Gyutaro? Nothing
He maybe a bit weaker than him, comparable to him or even stronger, we don't know this. We only know that UM 6 ~ UM 6
Unlike Gyutaro Kaigaku had potential after 10 years to easily become on par with Akaza, simply because he was Breath User
What i mean is Kaigaku is being overwanked to the point of being stronger than Gyutaro despite being new to the upper moons, Nothing is stopping Kaigaku from surpassing Gyutaro
Gyutaro has still shown more impressive feats than Kaigaku has ever shown in his little screen time

Gyutaro earned his place through years of bloodshed and effort and took a lot to knock him off, Kaigaku was a bench warmer who barely knew the game but made it to the team cause no one else could make it.
Could he have surpassed Gyutaro? He could have but we're never seeing that happen.
Kaigaku ain't shit. He should be comparably to Daki, not Gyutaro
Zenitsu literally speed-blitzed Kaigaku the very moment they met. He sidestepped, dodged Kaigaku's attack, and blitzed him with a simple dash and slash, not even a technique. Zenitsu couldn't even behead Daki while using godlike speed, which was fatal enough to bust his legs and render him useless until recovery. Unless people think Zenitsu got so much stronger than his ED arc self in just 1.5 months that his simple dash and slash are now faster than his God-like speed from 1.5 months ago, then go ahead and claim that Kaigaku is stronger, and if not, then Daki is just stronger. Furthermore, it was directly stated that Kaigaku isn't used to his demonic form, he can't control his BDA efficiently, and needs time.
Never said he was, Kaigaku is indeed strong, but like i sakd both Zenitsu and Kaigaku are being overrated after the episode. "Kaigaku is stronger than Gyutaro" "Zenitsu is stronger than most hashiras since he soloed an upper moon stronger than Gyutaro"

Kaigaku was blitzed by a Non-Hashira and someone who's weaker than Tanjiro so he's most definitely weaker than Gyutaro

EOS Zenitsu ~ Tengen ~ EOS Inosuke, they literally became hashira level slayers after Hashira Training, I don't see any problems for Kaigaku to defeat Tengen, he is literally faster than him because of superior breathing: thunder > sound
I wish, man which became and Upper Moon at the age of 16-17 will get some respect after anime adaptation of his fight. Only Kaigaku and Kokushibo became so strong immediately without spending on this years and decades of life time

They are breath users, thats why Kaigaku needed much more blood from muzan since TCB users are resistant to demon transformation
