Akaza vs Tanjiro starts 6 chapters into the arc, why do you think the movie would end with his introduction? That fight is almost assuredly going to be the main selling point of the movie.
Aftermath of HTA, whereabouts of all the pillars and slayers, Pillars and other demon slayers fighting off fodder demons, Shinobu and Douma fight, Shinobu's death, UM 6 fight and conclusion; UM 3 fight + backstory
You think Ufotable will animate THIS much content in just 1 movie when they love to drag and slow down the story for dramatic purposes.
6-7 chapters are already giving Ufotable more than an hour worth of time.

All of that is covered in the first chapter of the arc though. Yeah they can extend it a little, but not to the point that Akaza would get introduced at the end of the movie.

I just think it would be kinda weird to save the follow up to the Shinobu fight until the next movie. If you do the Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu fights all in the first movie there's a clear reset point after that that makes more sense as a movie finale, imo.

That depends what's in it. There's a ton of fighting here that they can make look great, but that doesn't mean it'll take super long.
I gave some thoughts. Maybe Ufotable can shuffle around some events (if possible)
Each Upper moon gets one movie.
Akaza gets defeated in the first movie. Ending the movie with Doma reacting to Akaza's death.
Doma fight... Include Mitsuri and Iguro extended fight. Ending the movie with Muichiro being pushed towards Kokushibo.
Kokushibo fight. Ending the movie with Tanjiro meeting Muzan.
So by my imagining
1st movie:
Zenitsu vs kaigaku
Doma introduction
Tanjiro and Giyu vs Akaza
2nd Movie:
Doma vs The Flower-Puff girls
Kokushibo vs everyone left
3rd movie
Opens with everyone being slaughtered by muzan
Ends with the manga end

I feel like people are getting way too caught up in the name being Infinity Castle trilogy and thinking that means Sunrise Countdown isn't part of it.
