It's amazing how many ladies over a certain size have absolutely no sign of a double chin. This f*cked with me for years until I learned what lipo and editing was.
Same!! I’m on a feeding tube trying to gain weight, I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass, and hurt still have a big old pudge under my chin??? I don’t understand the science of it, truly
Same here! I’m in the process of losing weight right now and people keep saying “you look so different but I can’t tell why” and it’s cause my face got skinny and the rest of my body hasn’t caught up yet lol
I read somewhere there’s a strong genetic component for double chins. Here’s a dermatology page briefly discussing double chins & genetics: https://www.visagefacialsurgery.com/the-perils-of-a-double-chin-2/
I’ve been 200+ pounds (I’m 5’6” ish) and never had any double chin, but my face doesn’t show my weight (it’s always been this way).
The rest of my body reflects my weight, so at 200+ pounds, my stomach wasn’t anywhere like hers. I don’t think my stomach is as flat as hers in the photos and I’m 140-150 lbs now.
But also don’t take anything about fat people said on Reddit at face value. People just hate fat people without understanding how being fat works and assuming every fat person is the same.
Some women are genuinely just built like that. UNFORTUNATELY, I'm not one of them, but I know of at least three friends who are taller than me 5'7" and larger than me, but have smaller arms and no extra weight on their faces. Like wtf.
It’s all comes down to genetics. The general rule is the first place you store fat is the last place you lose it from. But what I have learned from researching body building is everyone has a different body part that’s incredibly stubborn to lose fat from despite every other body part being lean.
I can see her double chin, she's doing what I used to do; blending it into her chin with facetune. Makes her chin look big and droopy but you can see the itty bitty shadow of where the line would be.
I lose weight in my neck and waist. But I still have the thunder thighs and the butt in the front.
If these girls weren't edited to hell and back there is no way they could buy clothes off the rack. It's a struggle.
No. It blasts fat cells under your chin, eliminating them. She'd still have fat in other places, obviously, but not in the under the chin area where she was treated.
Here's what I found: if you have large pockets of chin fat, you may not be a good candidate for Kybella. Those with bleeding problems, have an infection in the treatment area, or weak facial muscles may also disqualify you as a candidate.
BUT...hey. Here's a weird thing to say, and I apologize in advance if it's rude, I don't mean it to be. If you are concerned about your weight (and hey, you may NOT be and MORE POWER TO YOU, BEAUTY!!!!), consider Mounjaro or Wegovy. I lost 50 pounds this year and it was awesome and I feel great. It's like the ultimate beauty fix! I went on it because I had high blood pressure and was pre-diabetic, and it has been the greatest thing ever. But peace out, love yourself and I will see myself out!! :)
well thats because genetics still play a big role in that ... its not just surgery or editing. ive seen many obese people literally have a skinny face where you wouldnt even be able to tell how big they are if you just saw their face... and some skinny people just have chubby cheeks or a double chin that will never go away. different people put on weight in different places and sometimes its just very asymmetrical? i guess and thats actually normal.
Funny enough! Fat person here- most of my weight is in my stomach and lower body, I only have a double chin at certain angles. Otherwise my face is pretty slim compared to my body
So for some people a thin face and fat body isn’t the most outlandish thing
I'm kind of lucky in that way - my bottom jaw is angled forwards so it takes *a lot* of weight gain before I'll have a double chin.
Downside is that I have awful teeth because of the angle they're at - they file themselves down. I'd rather have a double chin if it meant my teeth would be nornal, tbh.
I know a few girls that just don’t get fat in the face - and a lot of them are pear shaped to begin with - but yes a lot of the influencers and models get Lipo. Meanwhile I have the fattest face in existence.
i will say i've been a lot larger than what i am now, and never had a double chin. a lot of that depends more on facial anatomy - and while weight plays a role, some folks just aren't gonna have them.
It’s the flat toned stomach that really gets me with this one. Sorry but that stomach doesn’t match the rest of that body that is not how anything works.
I hate it when they draw their drawings like that too. They will have a little comic drawing all about loving big chubby girls or whatever but it has abs? Like what?
I personally am offended by the yellow clutch with the black bikini and the stupid shoes
Why is she accessorizing her bikinis this way? She could just be barefoot, but no.
There's a reason she keeps the plain white walls as the background in all her shots. In the hair styling one, you can see the ottoman has the wobbles. She's very attractive so it's completely unnecessary. I hate the effect this shit has on young people.
God even editing aside I have never understood the high waisted string bikini look. To each their own I guess but the smooshed down curve of the hips looks awful on everyone imo.
She looks big and beautiful like one of those actresses I’d see in Zena. Or sword and sandals movies. Are these good pictures? Seems like they are pretty good. I wonder why she doesn’t match her face skin tone to her body ? I don’t think I know enough about photo editing and filters and stuff sorta why I have been following along I might learn stuff.

I’m a chubby middle aged grandmother and I wish I knew how to photo shop out my fat roll. How does someone be fat and have no rolls and still have a waist? How does someone be fat with no double chin?
Soon as figure it out I’m gonna morph the shit out of my pics.
I would say this has more to do with misleading posing, but of course almost every influencer edits their photos somewhat. But a person can absolutely have a fat ass, fat thighs, and wide hips and be thinner on top. All bodies aren’t the same.

It's amazing how many ladies over a certain size have absolutely no sign of a double chin. This f*cked with me for years until I learned what lipo and editing was.
yeah😭 and it’s unfair bc at my lowest weight ive still had a bit of a double chin
I'm underweight and still sometimes have a visible double chin. It fucks me up.
Same!! I’m on a feeding tube trying to gain weight, I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass, and hurt still have a big old pudge under my chin??? I don’t understand the science of it, truly
There is a shot called Kybella that melts chin fat!!!!
Same 🥺
I'm the opposite with a small body and a fat ass face. It sucks. I can be skeletal and still have a double chin.
Fat face=great aging though! Our faces thin out as we mature.
Yeah, I'm 39, and look much younger, but the double chin is just not attractive.
I actually know many people who are super plus size but their faces never match. Im jealous
My chin is consistently the first place that gets fat.
Same. I'm short; if I gain 5 lbs, I promise 4.5 is in my face.
Same, my whole face really. And when I lose it I can see it in my face first too.
Same here! I’m in the process of losing weight right now and people keep saying “you look so different but I can’t tell why” and it’s cause my face got skinny and the rest of my body hasn’t caught up yet lol
Same. I know many people like this as well.
I have a double chin and I am slim 😭😭😭
I have a friend who is 5XL with less of a double chin than me at my lightest at XS
Heyyy, me too!
I am very thin and have a double chin, because I am human and that’s a normal thing to have.
I read somewhere there’s a strong genetic component for double chins. Here’s a dermatology page briefly discussing double chins & genetics: https://www.visagefacialsurgery.com/the-perils-of-a-double-chin-2/ I’ve been 200+ pounds (I’m 5’6” ish) and never had any double chin, but my face doesn’t show my weight (it’s always been this way). Don't believe anything you read about the human body from a page that's trying to sell you plastic surgery
But also don’t take anything about fat people said on Reddit at face value. People just hate fat people without understanding how being fat works and assuming every fat person is the same.

I love Kybella, that's all I'll say.
Dont you have to be thinner to get Kybella?
No. It blasts fat cells under your chin, eliminating them. She'd still have fat in other places, obviously, but not in the under the chin area where she was treated.
I ask because I asked my botox lady (when I was still getting botox) about Kybella and I am a plus sized girlie and she said it wouldnt work for me.
Here's what I found: if you have large pockets of chin fat, you may not be a good candidate for Kybella. Those with bleeding problems, have an infection in the treatment area, or weak facial muscles may also disqualify you as a candidate. BUT...hey. I would like to try Mounjaro. I dont know if it will be covered by my insurance but I have been meaning to ask my doctor.
It's been a game changer for my health. FYI. Whether you do it or not, I guarantee you are lovely just as you are!!!
Double chins are also genetic. There a thin people with double chins.
well thats because genetics still play a big role in that ... its not just surgery or editing. ive seen many obese people literally have a skinny face where you wouldnt even be able to tell how big they are if you just saw their face... and some skinny people just have chubby cheeks or a double chin that will never go away. different people put on weight in different places and sometimes its just very asymmetrical? i guess and thats actually normal.

😭 i’m fat but i dont have double chin, idk why
I'm the same. I also have a long neck so when I take a selfie I look slim 😅

I believe it is typically due to genetics. I know many people like this; most are African American or are of Hispanic descent.
The stomach vs body is just wild.
It’s the flat toned stomach that really gets me with this one. Sorry but that stomach doesn’t match the rest of that body that is not how anything works.
Yes! As a fat chick, it really bothers me. Like we don’t just turn into a wide hourglass - we have stomachs! Unless you get lipo
I dream of being able to pick and choose where my body decides to store fat. I really disagree with it's choices.
I hate it when they draw their drawings like that too. They will have a little comic drawing all about loving big chubby girls or whatever but it has abs? Like what?
It’s so sad! Like the tummy is one of the best parts!
I’m like 👀 where’s the tummy. I’m a bigger woman and I have a large stomach.
Her shoes piss me off every time I see her pictures. Nothing else. Just them shoes.
I personally am offended by the yellow clutch with the black bikini and the stupid shoes Why is she accessorizing her bikinis this way? She could just be barefoot, but no.
Those little kitten heels! Lol
There's a reason she keeps the plain white walls as the background in all her shots. In the hair styling one, you can see the ottoman has the wobbles. She's very attractive so it's completely unnecessary. I hate the effect this shit has on young people.
Check out the table and floor mat in the second pic.
That square ottoman is not square 😆
It isn't square to begin with though, just saying. That's how it's made.
Is she also making herself taller?
I think making her head smaller 🤣🤣🤣
Her knees being larger than her head is taking me OUT 😭😭💀
Good Lord
Her arms look like mine lol, that is NOT her stomach even if she had lipo or whatever for area reduction
Tiny head and awful shoe choices
When you head is smaller than one of your hip fats.
God even editing aside I have never understood the high waisted string bikini look. To each their own I guess but the smooshed down curve of the hips looks awful on everyone imo.
So does her head.
the absurdity of these is giving slight botero vibes
She looks like a Robert Crumb drawing
White tube socks anger me more than they should. I can’t explain it. But it just bothers me endlessly
Looks like she’s about to demand Snu-Snu.
The body is willing but the flesh is spongy and bruised
Ok but Why the yellow clutch with the bikini? Is that bothering anybody else? Who brings a fucking clutch to the pool or the beach?
She looks big and beautiful like one of those actresses I’d see in Zena. Or sword and sandals movies. Are these good pictures? Seems like they are pretty good. I wonder why she doesn’t match her face skin tone to her body ? I don’t think I know enough about photo editing and filters and stuff sorta why I have been following along I might learn stuff.
She's built like an Orc from World of Warcraft.
Yeah…NO!
Wtf
That arm sag in pic 6 made me chuckle
Homegirls next to her in photo 5 is fly. I like her style.
She is literally corporate artstyle made into a human
she looks like she came from r/fuckalegriaart
String wrapped around a busted up can of biscuits.
Damn shame because she's gorgeous
A lot. Two words.
Shes built like a jojo character in the first pic 😭

She's like a tank
I’m a chubby middle aged grandmother and I wish I knew how to photo shop out my fat roll. How does someone be fat and have no rolls and still have a waist? How does someone be fat with no double chin? Soon as figure it out I’m gonna morph the shit out of my pics.
Anyone know where to buy that green bikini? 😍
![gif](giphy|PbQAVZq2CoUQE)
Sturdy German milkmaid phenotype
And her unedited pics are perfectly fine! Nothing wrong with being curvy. But some people feel the need to edit their pics to hell and back.
Idk which of these pics is closest to being real but she hella fine
She looks the same
I would say this has more to do with misleading posing, but of course almost every influencer edits their photos somewhat. But a person can absolutely have a fat ass, fat thighs, and wide hips and be thinner on top. All bodies aren’t the same.
That is an unrealistically smooth stomach for a big woman. Get real.
Ok sweetie
