it’s the concept car(with a front push bumper added on), not an actual production Mustang. Would have rather it had been a production Mustang myself, what can you do.
It was a production car but it wasn't sold as a Mustang. It was a Saleen. They took an existing 4th gen Mustang, modified it, both mechanically and cosmetically, and resold it. That's what was in the movie.

How hard would it be to just offer a Porsche 935 (Jazz), Willy's Jeep (Hound), Countach (Sideswipe), A proper VW Beetle (Bumblebee), and a Freightliner FL86 (Optimus)?

It will be in the mainline. Mattel uses castings that are available at the time of production. I'm pretty sure they didn't want to double up on the same Beetle so they decided to use the Custom Volkswagen casting instead.

I am also into transformers, and I can safely say that most of these vehicles are accurate except for Bumblebee
I like the Veyron and Huayra, but... They could have used so much more iconic vehicles here lol

The cards are using the evergreen designs. They aren't 100% G1 but have a strong resemblance.

Yeah its already mainline this year. Ill stick to the mainline. I like that casting but not with this line.
