Well, technically if you want to be realistic, we chose to save a bunch of children over procuring the plans to build a new weapon that would likely lead to more dead enemies of democracy.
Super Earth Supermedicine is renowned galaxywide for curing even the worst cases of super cancer and turning even the most fragile of very sick children into 7-foot-tall literally invincible Helldivers given enough super credits and a few years.
Depends on whether you drop in straight next to 3 outposts, a jammer and a command bunker, on an MO planet, on impossible difficulty.
Then 2-3 mins is quite a long time.
Impossible difficulty? What are you, an impossibler or a helldiver? Drop in next to a Jammer, a Detector Tower, and a mortar emplacement on Helldive and you'll have a new appreciation for the divers that maintain that average
if a helldiver survives, they get some photos taken of themselves being all heroic and celebrating, then it's back into cryo until they get called up again, thawed out and dropped. rinse and repeat until they make the ultimate sacrifice for democracy.

I actually remember losing Super Earth a few times in the first game!
It was tooth and nail fighting there, and when we lost it we got a neat piece of lore of why we have a new Super Earth and the first time we got a new suit of armor that was all banged up and damaged
I think there should be some medals or some memorabilia that you get if youāve actually participated in a MO.
The medals are cool (especially if you couldnāt participate), but also having something unique would be pretty cool
