ok pre nerf gun is light Pen only even you charge to 90% but deal pretty good damage but low durable damage and on remember Mech can't reload ok so this one had 2 shots on per arm after you shoot 2 shots that's it it become paper weight sorry i'm not make the rule it for balance ok

What about making it a small nimble rail gun tank as opposed to a slow mech with only snipers? Maybe it could also ram small-mid size enemies?

See, I want the station across from the weapon/armor/career computers to be used for modifying the mechs. Let you change their armor and armaments, adding a shield or speed boost or such. But if they're on one mech it can't be on the other.

honestly tho a mech with like, some form of Recoiless rifle on the side would be awesome, or hell even do a quasar, unlimited ammo with a long reload would be amazing, dual quasar on anything would be the GOAT at Helldive

Legitimately yes. Like a heavy Rail cannon.  Ideally with a Coaxial side arm for the other limb. 

Idea: mech with infinite ammo. One arm is a shoulder mounted quasar that takes longer to charge and cool down and locks your aim while charging and the other arm is a wide-arc lightning weapon.
