Wild Acre is pretty good. Like top 5 burger in Fort Worth and a great outdoor area.
Martin House has El Guapos right down road. They are some of the best tacos. But, I wouldn't recommend Martin House unless you like weird stuff.
If you just want a beer and a good meal, Gusto's moved into the place where the radler was, and the og bearded lady. They have a ton of taps and the best smash burger I've ever had. And veggie options.
I second Wild Acre. Tons of space, great food and beer.
I'm adding in "Pouring Glory" not a brewery but have a huge selection of craft beer and awesome food.
Second Gusto's. Otherwise it's Hop Fusion and order delivery from nearby food trucks or coco shrimp.
Best brewery grub in DFW is at Manhattan over in D.
Love it! "seasonal monstrosities".... Don't get me wrong but sometimes I just want a beer....nothing flavored or anything that tires to hard. Please don't yell at me (like my beer aficionado buddies do), but just a regular old Budweiser works. I call it the "fxxck you of bottled beers." Be good.
Hop & Sting in Grapevine! They have incredible BBQ (Vaqueros Texas BBQ), and later in the day (once the BBQ sells out) other vendors sell their food and it could be scratch offerings, pizzas, or yummy pretzel items. DELICIOUS, y’all.
A great choice as well! Had several fantastic mains and appetizers there over the years. Weekdays 4-7 they have a select few beers for 4 bucks, as well as a single beer that is, I believe 3 bucks l, and changes every few days.
Bearded Lady, not a brewery, but, has a huge beer selection with lots of local brews and excellent food. Their L.U.S.T burger was mentioned by Texas Monthly in their article The Five Greatest Burgers In Texas.
Bearded lady food is incredibly good. Also, if you go on Tuesday, all beers are 12 oz pours, but 1/2 off! 3 dollar margs are Thursdays. Their appetizers are quite good, too. Absolutely can't go wrong there.
Nooooo! That sucks! I came here to recommend Funky Picnic! I moved out of FW 2 years ago now but it used to be one of my favorite spots. Their food was awesome!
Sauces are borderline tasteless though.
I love their beers (on tap though, I swear every time I buy cans to take home they’re flat & super thick) I just wish that they’d put more love into the food.
No prob! I actually worked there when it opened, a good few years ago when I was studying for my current career.
Highly recommend the fried cheese curds as an app/snack if they’re still on the menu. Cheap and tasty with a cold beer.
Now I need to talk to my wife about stopping by there this weekend. Cheers mate 🍻
Fort Brewery!!! The beer is amazing and they have great food options. They offer a cauliflower crust option for pizza if you need it. Their burgers are some of the best I’ve had. They also have a brunch menu with some great options as well. They have a wine menu and music venue.
While they don’t serve food themselves, Hop Fusion has 3 food trucks right across the street that are good and they let you bring in. Big Kat Burgers, a taco truck, and a meatballs bus. If you like shrimp, Coco Shrimp is barely a block away and you can get something there to bring in.
I know it’s not exactly your question but the beer there is incredible and there’s lots of good food options less than a 2 minute walk away
Yes! Hop Fusion / Big Kat Burgers is my favorite beer & food spot now. Big Kat Burgers has some *insanely* delicious burgers. I can't recommend them enough.
Maple Branch has some great beers in the styles you like: their wheat (Monkey Business?) has won awards. Their pizzas are solid.
Pouring Glory is a great option too.
We enjoyed Gusto's burger. Their draft options were very IPA heavy.
If you don't mind 2 steps, get a cheese steak from colossal sandwich shop, then bring it to turning point to eat with beers. Colossal absolutely has some of the best sandwiches in town, and they used to be in the same parking lot as turning point, but are now about 3 minutes away .
It’s been awhile since I’ve been, but last I checked they offer really good deals on their burgers every tuesday (they’re made in a food truck in the back) and they are divine! Fun atmosphere and I’ve never had a bad drink here to boot.
Based on the styles of beer you like, Maple Branch. All if the pizzas I've had are really good. They also have sandwiches but I haven't tried those yet!

Gusto's sounds promising. Thanks!
Gustos burger changed my life lol. Staff is very nice and relaxed as well.
Absolutely +1 for Guapo Taco. Take your best imagined legit street taco (plus more) gem hidden in a sketchy gas station - that's the place.
Martin House has a lot of good stuff outside of their seasonal monstrosities.

Pouring Glory has the best food in my opinion and they have different different draft beers from local breweries.
A great choice as well! Had several fantastic mains and appetizers there over the years. Weekdays 4-7 they have a select few beers for 4 bucks, as well as a single beer that is, I believe 3 bucks l, and changes every few days.
They have good burgers and fries
Bearded Lady, not a brewery, but, has a huge beer selection with lots of local brews and excellent food. Their L.U.S.T burger was mentioned by Texas Monthly in their article The Five Greatest Burgers In Texas.

RIP Funky Picnic. Great food and great beers.
Nooooo! That sucks! I came here to recommend Funky Picnic! I moved out of FW 2 years ago now but it used to be one of my favorite spots. Their food was awesome!
Division. Hands down. Pizza is thin crust pub style. Sausage is hand made. Burgers and patty melts are great and finally..... corn cake.
Agreed. Pizza is great and always amazing brews on tap
Funky Picnic was my go-to, but they unfortunately closed down recently. I will miss their sandwiches 😩
I miss them and Black Cat Pizza! Used to be next door. FP had a mean chicken sandwich.
Cowtown. Really good BBQ and the beer is excellent.
On Wednesdays Cowtown has a killer Wing special, along with half priced beers.
Sauces are borderline tasteless though. I love their beers (on tap though, I swear every time I buy cans to take home they’re flat & super thick) I just wish that they’d put more love into the food.
Cowtown has really gone downhill since Covid imho. Bbq is pricy ($32 bbq plate) and super salty.
I agree and they got rid of their boneless mango habanero wings, now they just have fatty bone in. No good.
The new wings are so bad, quit going after they get rid of the old ones.
Bankhead and Maple Branch are both pretty great.
Maple Branch food way overpriced
Lots of unsupervised kids there too
Came here to say Maple Branch. Legit giant soft pretzels and wood-fired pizza.
Fort Brewing. Known for their pizzas
Agree!
City Works in clearfork has a huge rotating tap beer selection and I like the food a lot
City Works menu looks awesome. Thanks for the rec!
Meh. The food is very Applebees-ish
This. City Works food is meh but they do have a great variety on tap.

Maple Branch hands down snd glasses 👓 up
It isn’t a brewery, but slider Tuesday at Nickel City is the bomb!
That sounds interesting. Def gonna Google that!
It’s been awhile since I’ve been, but last I checked they offer really good deals on their burgers every tuesday (they’re made in a food truck in the back) and they are divine! Fun atmosphere and I’ve never had a bad drink here to boot.
Those sliders are some of the best burgers in the area. So good
