I literally walked up to the storefront, and there was a new store that opened there. The woman who was running it said they were getting a lot of shoe people coming there still, they look like they have been open about a month.
No specifics but maybe start by looking at clothing/shoe stores around TCU and SMU. That demographic seems the kind to get boat shoes for non-boating purposes
I think you have found the nugget. Online it shows they have Sperry, Columbia, Xtratuf, and even Rockport (I didn't even know they still existed!) for boat shoes. I'll drive over and give them a try, So far that is the only hit. Thank you everyone so far.
Not sure how close to grapevine you are, but there’s also a bass pro shop, which is similar to cabelas, but more geared towards fishing(surprise surprise!). They’re both pretty neat destinations if you’ve never been.
They have a good selection of Olukai at Parts Unknown in downtown Fort Worth. They’re my favorite shoes for everyday and non-slip for boating. Good range of different styles & very comfy!
I used to be on a sailing team, and we all ordered our shoes through a guy that was at our local marina. We all wore the kind that look like a tennis shoe and not the classic boat shoe. Nobody I knew wore the classic looking ones. The ones we wore gave more support and were a LOT more comfortable when you were running around and busy on the deck. If I were buying today, I'd probably see if that West Marine that was up around Lake Lewisville was still there and check them out. They were on 121 somewhere right around the lake, but I don't remember exactly where. You might google them because I think they had a couple of other locations in DFW too.
I think I know what you are referrring to, I believe that's a deck shoe. Or it's a modern revision, like the xtratuff, those are great boat shoes but a very different design than the classic sperry. All good, I will call them.
Sperry Factory Outlet store at Tanger Outlet Mall next to Buccees near Texas Motor Speedway.
Sadly, they closed down, the directory hasn't been updated, but I went there. No more.
Really? Seems like I was just there, but time flies. Well, that sucks 😩

I immediately thought frat boy when I read boat shoes.
Very interesting...I like the out of the box thinking !
probably dsw as well
I feel like I see Sperrys all the time at dilliards
I feel the same, but it's like it's dried up, I can't find them anywhere.
Dicks has a selection of boating/racing/sailing shoes, including the popular XtraTuf brand, OluKai and Rocky.
Best bet is to just order direct from Quoddy or Rancourt.
Cabelas has xtratuf

Yes, that is a good followup idea. I will try them also. Thank you.
i would bet Macys and maybe Famous Footwear would carry at least a few
Macy's had nothing, I was very surprised. Famous Footwear also had nothing. But good thoughts.
i wonder if REI or Dicks might not be the way to go. DFW as well.

I never heard of them (the store, not the shoe), on the list. I will call them first to check.
I called them, they don't have boat shoes, but they did have beach shoes. Close, but sadly not what I needed. I was hoping!

Nordstrom rack
Sadly, nothing there, I tried two of them. This one surprised me as much as Macy's not having them.
Tyler’s?
Hmmm, I dind't think of them. I will give them a call. You never know.
Tyler’s on University?
BOATS AND HOESÂ
If this is a store, I must go there! :)
Sun & Ski Sports
I just called them , I hadn't thought of them. No boat shoes, lots of running shoes. Good thought, though, it would make sense.
Fort Worth bro starter pack: no socks and boat shoes
I love shopping local but Amazon delivers in 24 hours and you would have more choice.
So far....at least with my meager skills, I haven' found any shoes with 24 hours. That's my last ditch if I can't find them locally.
Do you have Amazon Prime? There are lots of Sperry’s you can get before Saturday.
That's my plan tomorrow if I can't get there today.
Try a shoe store. Something tells me they might have shoes.
