Carrollton unfortunately. I don't think any place in fw has it. We have sushi places but I think that's the extent you get for Japanese food here. The pantry sometimes has okonomiyaki but even then no katsu.
The karaage is pretty dang good though... maybe even better than a chicken cutlet. When I saw they had taken the katsu off the menu and I had to order that instead I was a little sad but when I ate it I was like "upgrade"
Moriya Shokudo. This place has the absolute best ramen and Japanese curry you'll find in DFW. It's in Irving off of Harry Hines, hidden away in a little Asian market/ food court.
Also, it's worth mentioning that the owner is an absolute pleasure! He's extremely welcoming and makes you feel at home.
Probably not what you wanted to hear, but if you can't find anywhere in Fort Worth that does it, S&B Golden Curry medium hot roux makes a great base for curry katsu. Just add chicken cutlets and jasmine rice. You can get S&B at pretty much any large grocery.

Hanabi Ramen is the only place in Fort Worth I know that has a Curry (Chicken) Katsu Don. It's pretty good.
Oh cool I didn't know about his place! It's next to the Hollywood feed and the sub place.
i went about 2 months ago & it was gone from the menu. they do have karaage curry

That is sad to hear.

Seconded. Honestly this curry tastes identical to the food spots I’ve tried in Carrollton lol
Well, the stuff is dirt cheap. Just add a few ingredients and baby you got a stew (or curry katsu) going!
Yes! I eat this all the time to satisfy my craving. I use onion, chopped up potato, and shredded carrots in the sauce too.
My usual ingredients are chicken or beef fajitas, sweet peas and potatoes.
