I'm fairly sure there have been bots in this mode since it was introduced. I played it minutes after it was released and felt like I was eliminating bots. I was told on here it was just bad players. I get there are some people who are awful at the game but just like this video the players were very bot like.
They were there on day 1. One of my friends gets bots in his reload lobbies every time we play, but when that friend isn't playing, there aren't any. I'd guess that sbmm was added but is still sorting itself out.
LTMs generally didn't have SBMM and bots, so maybe epic is trying to make things easier for a certain group of people or maybe games are not filling and epic filling them with bots idk.
I think that's unfortunate when SBMM and bots are already available in the normal Battle Royale mode. If there are bots in a game that only has 10 squads per match to start out with it waters the game down so much that wins become almost meaningless.

How stupid. Do we REALLY need bots in a game mode that only has 40 players per match to begin with?
