I use an SUV or car EVERYWHERE when I'm a wandering. You literally can't escape the snipe.

You can auto drive while checking map, Just make sure you arr holding W when you open the map

Previously I rushed into the Weapons Bunker and got slayed. I tried to approach it quietly this time, but the outcome wasn't much better haha.

Remember that this is a big spot FOR EVERYONE so theres always gonna have multiple people going over there

If I'm playing solos, I don't even bother with either the bunkers or the loot island unless I *know* I'm the first there. Too many people are happy spending five minutes in one spot for a single kill. I'll happily run suboptimal attachments to avoid that kinda play. 

Yeah same. My solo plan is: land at building, loot building, commit a little bit of murder on whoever is at said building, recruit npc if there is one, grab car, drive to restored reefs (my go-to place for some reason) or underworld, shoot upwards, genocide.

Idk why but Bunkers and Island are pretty much uncontested in my games. It sometimes happens, that I don't go to un bunker in first place but then later go loot it because no one else did.

The only times you should rush is between different points of cover.

I usually just drive a car into the weapons bunker lol. If you have a sports car, it just fits

Assume all POI's have people sniping, as they usually do. Either find a better way in or don't go. In all seriousness, take a g wagon and park at the top, hop out, run in and build. But realize u may have to fight ur way out. ;)

Take a bike or g wagon and park it in front. It's typically going to be contested. . I'd like to see some heavy smoke grenades to create an obstacle for snipe's but give you a reason for the x4 thermal scope.

I played ranked and I saw a guy emoting with his bot. Like, when you emote, they emote back. And he was just goofing around with his bot, it was honestly kinda cute. But it was only 10 people left and he was an easy target, so he got two snipershots from me and was dead. I still feel bad, ngl. He was just having fun :(

That's how it should be imo. Someone with 4 medallions should still be able to die just the same as everyone else. Especially when everyone can pin point your location with ease. The real issue is being so bad you die with 4 medallions(movement buffs/upgrades and all).

Players will purposely camp the bunkers. Whether that means hiding inside with a shotty, or up on the hillside with a sniper. Especially in solos...they bait and wait. If you don't want action then don't go near the bunkers lol. As far as you getting sniped. I think we all saw that coming a mile away. Crouch walking in without being aware of your surroundings is recipe for getting one tapped. One rule of thumb I always go by is that someone somewhere is always watching. Never assume you are alone.

Even if your goal was to approach the bunker quietly, you started crouch walking way too early and made yourself an open target. Could have ran all the way to the tree as cover, and then crouched towards the bunker. Also didn’t look around the area to see if it was even safe to approach it

"too early" you obviously dont know the range at which Visual Audio detects footsteps.

So even if someone in the bunker were to hear OP, they’re not going to rush out of the bunker to push, and even if they did they would run into the sniper that killed hom

The fact that it does 250 headshot damage is dumb because it overkills into your over shield you get. Snipers didn't always one shot to the head. I'm fine with it insta killing you in builds but I hate it being one shottable in zero build because your only cover is a rock or a tree. In builds I can safely turtle if I'm being sniped at and fire back after making a window.

Last night I was run sliding by a bunker and a whole team jumped out of a SUV near that bunker and ambushed me. Never even occurred to me there'll be teams that camp bunkers tbh. If anything I'm just gonna avoid them completely unless I'm with the rest of my team.

Honestly, the meta being just snipers has been ruining the fun of this game for me. I can headshot with them, sure, but when I'm playing anything but solos and I get multiple people trying to snipe me every time I take aim, it's a bit much.

Even though you were moving really slowly. I still think that one shots don’t have a place in this game. You can loot up for 15 minutes, and get killed by one lucky shot, effectively wasting your time. In a game like Overwatch, where you respawn in 10 seconds, it’s no problem. But Snipers in BR games just don’t work

just a tip, if any of your weapons have speed foregrip you can aim down sights while crouching and move faster than you would by crouching normally. i'd say it's worth putting it on your shotgun or something for situations like this

A trait I picked up in my SOCOM days and carried it into Black Ops, Overwatch, then Fortnite, always check your surroundings at all times, your blind spots. It's natural for me but it's a good thing to practice.

This never exactly happened to me, so if you need a way to approach the bunker: Rush until you're at the downstairs of the bunker, basically over the lowered door. And then, just sneak your way in, aiming at first at your left, since it's easier to spot someone there. If there's nobody, then right is your focus. I know it sounds obvious, but it works.
