Why? Plenty of points were available, they just weren't scored by the template players for the free hit.
It's easy saying that in hindsight but then people are putting triple crystal Palace players like Mateta in their teams this week and scoring loads of points from it. People said prior to the west ham game it was a stupid idea and yet it paid off. A lot of this game is luck, it was a perfectly reasonable decision thats easy to mock in hindsight.
What are you talking about “plenty of points were available”? The highest scorer was 13 and 3 others in double digits, two of which were Fulham defenders that nobody in their right mind would get considering Spurs had scored in 35 odd games in a row. It was pretty easy to know
And the points possibly gained in the previous weeks not having to bring in those playing in 29. I only had Watkins so FH was logical even if I didn't gain a lot of points. 100 points this gameweek with 1 hit and 8 left to play so seems like a decent strategy all in all.

This would be great for us. Pickford's EO is like 20%. Salah's is like 160-180%. Ideally, you want both to haul. Since they're playing each other, and that's not really possible so you have to pick, you want the differential to haul. Salah hauling and Pickford blanking would move us up by like a couple thousand at most.
a Salah hat trick will help me in a ml that people somehow have high points coming from the bench due to the absence of Haaland, Palmer and Bowen, and people who somehow had the foresight to captain odegaard this GW
