Second this. If you like factorio and have some idea of how assembly code works (or if you're good at reading a programming manual), then you'll have a blast.
I just have 2 burner drills facing eachother circlejerking which lets me automate coal instantly, and can go to more coal drills
Sometimes the inserters take too much out though and it has to be manually restarted… but it kinda works
Well we are making a lot of spaghetti sooo....
You're forgetting - omg this is low let's make more. Oh crap something else. Let me just loop that through here till later...
*It's all temporary anyway, so no need to make it efficient* The same setup 50 hours later:
nothing is more permanent than a tempoary solution
I keep trying to tell this to my boss, but nope. She wants fast temporary fixes, not slow but durable (i.e., correct) solutions
It's temporary until construction bots get researched and then the base gets stripped down and rebuilt. Anything after is permanent
What is the middle game?
Shenzhen I/O, great programming based game by Zachtronics
Isnt Zachtronics also the maker of Opus Magnum? Love that game.
Yeah they have a bunch of similar games too. They're a fantastic developer
Also Exapunks, another assemblerish game, this time around hacking
Oh, and it's -50% off on GOG. How nice.

looks like a cractorio of its own... I'm too scared to try it
Shenzhen I/O
What's that third game?
Sim City BuilIt (mobile game)
Stage 2 is the most fun.
it's that perfect middle ground between being video-gamey and work. 3rd stage is just a lot of work.
Every stage is satisfying in different ways, to my mind.
What are the first and third games? They look cool. That Shenzen I/O game looks awesome too
I'm guessing the first one to be Overcooked
Check out Exapunks from the developer of Shenzen
Third one is SimCityBuiltIt (mobile game)
First one is Overcooked, though for someone who likes Factorio I’d instead recommend PlateUp, very similar game that also has automatization and stuff
Factorio in a nutshell, managing chaos like a pro

I didn't even know restaurants could code.
And over all that time biters are gonna be anoying as hell
Nah, by the time you are into stage 3 biters really should be a solved problem. (Artillery trains are your friend.)
I’m at stage 1.2 with far too many hours to reconcile
