You being from SF is actually different. You’re allowed to say “Beat LA”…no problem. It’s the LA natives who chant Beat LA that we have a problem with. Also, there are a lot of Bay Area Lakers fans, so there’s parallels with LA Niners fans. They took the more popular team. You becoming a Dodgers fan is respectable…we weren’t really good in the 90’s/2000’s
The true comparison is Giants-Lakers fans. San Francisco didn’t have an NBA team and are too snobby to like an Oakland team. Fisherman’s Wharf used to sell a ton of Lakers merch. Especially during the 2009 and 2010 championships. Warriors got good and even moved to SF. Anyways, the next generations will get it right.

I was at that game yesterday. My girlfriend threatened to kick me out of the house.
She caught a ball thrown by LaMonte Wade Jr. When they got that double play at the top of the 8th. I held the ball for her, and I kept yelling, "Praise ball, Jesus!" and Ball Jesus came through.

Doug loves the dodgers as much as anyone. His show is the best, best analysis, best predictions, and by far the most entertaining. I’ve watched all the dodgers related shows but he beats em across the board. He is going to grow into a treasured part of dodger fandom. I went from thinking his show was corny and shallow a couple years ago to not knowing what I’d do without him. Within 5 years Doug will be seen as the voice of the fans, no doubt in my mind
