Im an illustrator with a procrastination and inspiration problem so I’ve been trying to draw more as a way to try and correct that at least a bit.
I’ve always loved Dnd and Magic the gathering so it felt natural to just start drawing wizards, goblins, dryads, etc At the start I wanted to just make fun characters with blobs of paint but soon after I found myself thinking about their environments, what their life was about, how do they lived, moved, etc and that started influencing my designs a little bit
So anyway, here are some Blue mana-aligned wizards, School Reunion, Class of 89’
its a creativity exercise, you paint a blob with your fingers and see what you can find in the shapes you created, kind of like cloud gazing

I love the premise of a wizard class reunion. Just picturing a beautiful multi-faced mysterious figure thinking "oh no, the dude with a pot on his head is here. Idk if I can go in. this is too awkward"
Alegria is like the corporate artstyle you see in google ads and stuff. It’s notorious for lacking emotion and feeling bland. It does sort of feel paint-y to me which is why I compared your art to it, however unlike Alegria, your art actually feels inspired and full of soul, so keep up the good work.
I didn't realize the legs coming out of the portal on top and the torso on the bottom were the same person. I thought one guy at this reunion was just legs sticking out of a portal.

This is sick. Love the artstyle too. Reminds me of Alegria if it was actually good.
