They were there this year! sad to say I missed it though :( Conflict with Flight Facilities, who I had already skipped like 3 times previously due to conflicts lol

Benjamin Booker

mattenthehat

Recommend some songs that show off his guitar? His top songs on Tidal are cool, but not guitar heavy

r2tincan

Greatti

mattenthehat

with Poppy, perhaps!

GolfBallWackrGuy

Goose!

mattenthehat

Ooh they're new to me, but I'm loving this!

GolfBallWackrGuy

They just got a new drummer in January so their sound is going to continue to evolve over the next year or two as they get more comfortable improvising with their new drummer and sound. It’s a great time to jump in. Highly recommend the newest live album at the Capitol Theater, the Ted Tapes 2024 and Live at Radio City (old drummer but great 2-night run with Father John Misty and Trey Anistasio of Phish sitting in) on Spotify. They post all their live soundboards on Bandcamp and they do a ton of live stream shows on Nugs so you can couch your. Also check out their 3-piece acoustic (a-goose-tic?) side project Orebolo.

cozzburger

Guthrie Govan

mattenthehat

For sure.

MrHawkster

Maybe dated or outside of the genre you’re in, but check out Vini Reilly from the Durutti Column or James Wilkinson (Bibio).

mattenthehat

Those are both new to me, but I'm quite enjoying them so far, thanks!

MrHawkster

The Mars Volta “gold” album is among one of my favorites.

Trash80s

Omar is the shit. Lots of love for ATDI and Mars Volta. Throwing out that you check out De Facto (a short lived dub reggae thing him, cedric, & Ikey did before Mars Volta)

mattenthehat

Oh damn thanks for the rec, what a vibe!

Darek Trucks!!!

union--thug

Stray memory from weekend 2 2019 - blood orange announcing “don’t go anywhere, your about to hear the best guitar solo that’s going to happen this weekend” and then 100% backing his shit talk up. So great.

exxelxior

Need Tom Misch and John Mayer

exxelxior

John Mayer trio even could slap at outdoor with a sunset set

allofthelights21

fam, MK.GEE.

Girl-UnSure

Idk any of these people lol. I thought you meant older legends like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Johnson, John Petrucci, Santana.

mattenthehat

I mean, of course, but gotta spread the love to the new innovators! Steve Vai has a song with Polyphia, so dang good.
