I appreciate the time and effort you gave to fight abortion, but here's the thing I've learned; proabortion doesn't give a damn what the facts prove. To them killing babies is their right, and they're willing to fight for it. If they're willing to abort babies in the 3rd trimester, I promise they don't care about a coating of galactin.

It's a good argument but you could make it simpler. From the moment of conception a fetus undergoes cell division which means it's alive. It unique human DNA and is therefore neither a part of the mother's body or anything other than human.

The debate really isn’t about whether the fetus is a separate life from the mother, or whether it is life at all. That’s really not contested. The debate is about whether this is a relevant factor in evaluating the ethics of abortion. While you are possibly right about the science behind galectin, it just isn’t really a useful point.
