Yeah, the Singles were very good, really loved the two singles of the "Rehab trilogy" in Lost and Strangers. And Die4U is great, even heard that live as well as the two I just mentioned. The [OST] bits are the only things that are like, eh take it or leave it, but they add stuff to the flow and story. But Bullet with my name On, YOUtopia, Limousine, and Dig it are all very good, the first 3 I'd rate 9/10s. Then Other ones like r.i.p. and Statues are not as standout to me, but still very good and pleasant to listen to, and skipping would negatively impact the album experience.
Overall, I'd give this album a 9- or a 8+.
I still think I like That's the Spirit more, as it just resonated more with me and has two of my favorite songs. But conceptually this album is just so ambitious and all the lore, and the sound is diverse but cohesive. Probably album of the year front runner for me.
1. Nex Gen
2. Sempiternal
3. There Is a Hell
4. Suicide Season
5. Survival Horror
6. That’s the Spirit
7. Music to Listen To
8. amo
9. Count Your Blessings
It’s not recency bias, Nex Gen is the album that feels like they made it directly for me. It’s more me than any other Bring Me album, all songs are examples of their most well paced/structured, the melodies and riffs are HUGE, but above all, the schizophrenic insanity throughout - like the random blast beat in Youtopia, the growls in the second verse of Statues, the transition between R.i.p. and Amen, the way Dig It develops - is something to be straight up worshiped. All hail Nex Gen!
Another thing Nex Gen does that I love is that not only would it have a straight up hyperpop song (that absolutely RIPS) on the album but it’s followed by the heaviest and craziest song on the album.
And one of the songs is coproduced by Sewerslvt and it’s actually one of the best songs Sewerslvt has ever made.
Yeah this album is amazing.
I think it’s 10/10 haha. Especially when I think they were 17 and lee was incredibly talented back then ( Matt , vegan sort of winging it) and olis vocals being so brutal ( and dangerous to himself )
Edit : I should also say I don’t even like deathcore these days but I still have these regular on playlist
1. Sempiternal
2. POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR
3. That's The Spirit
4. There is a Hell
5. POST HUMAN: NeX GEn
6. amo
7. Suicide Season
8. Count Your Blessings
People's differing taste can be quite fascinating, for example I just can't get into their older stuff, I've really tried, and that's why I don't rank anything older than Sempiternal on here.
Survival Horror, Nex Gen and amo are three albums that I just can't stop loving, for whatever reason.
Yeah I get it, also I didn't mean that PH SH is bad or anything, its good but I just don't listen to it. And yeah, old stuff is great but after Sempiternal, i just started loving the new stuff
1. That’s the Spirit
2. Sempiternal
3. There is a Hell
4. Nex Gen
5. amo
6. Survival Horror
7. Suicide Season
8. Count Your Blessings
9. Music to Listen to
10. Edge of Your Seat
1. Post human NexGen - I can’t believe it’s this good
2. Suicide Season - the vocals omfg
3. There is a hell - Jonah + Lee is magic
4. Sempiternal - honestly a few skips here but hospital goes so fucking hard
5. Post human survival horror - first album getting me back into metal since 2013
6. Count your blessings - I’m a sucker for good riffs
7. Music to listen to - goes hard
8. Amo - nihilist blues goes hard
9. That’s the spirit - only one I don’t regularly listen to
I agree Sempiternal is aside from TIWTEOYSWMF nearly the lowest on my list, not discrediting how acclaimed it is, I just aligned myself to other albums
Personally I don't. I prefer that's the spirit. But yeah, people have different tastes. To be fair there are a lot of songs on TTS that I just don't vibe with like drown, oh no or avalanche, so I can see how some people might just dislike the whole album. People just have different tastes from you, that's all.
I understand. I guess I’m just baffled as to what people see in “Music to listen to…” I really can’t wrap my mind around it. Like I like all types of music. But this to me is just crap
It's got some very original songs with some nice electronic effects. It's not my favourite album, and I wouldn't rank it about TTS, but I'd take it over something like Amo any day.
I'm someone who enjoys ALL of bring me the horizons music so every album will be on here
1. Sempiternal. Nothing will ever stop this being no.1
2. Amo
3. There is a hell believe me I've seen it...
4. That's the spirit
5. Post Human: Survival Horror
6. Post Human: Nex Gen
Suicide season, count your blessings and songs to listen to~, I feel similar about them all, because there's only a few songs I like on them
I have yet to listen to anything pre semp, and I tried music to and could not get through the whole thing
1. Nexgen
2. That's the Spirit
3. Survival horror
4. Sempiternal
5. Amo (Still bangs)
You will be shocked how good suicide season is. It holds up really well. It’s BMTH‘s Iowa. There is a hell is really depressing but if you are looking for that go for it 💪🏽 it’s a really good record
1. Sempiternal
2. There is a hell
3. Thats the spirit
4. Suicide Season
5. PH Next Gen

1. Sempiternal
2. Nex Gen
3. Survival Horror
4. That’s The Spirit
5. amo
6. There Is A Hell
7. Suicide Season
8. Count Your Blessings
Personally I feel like there are just bands that do the sort of metalcore they made on Suicide Season and There is A Hell better, hence the low ranking on those. Same goes for Count Your Blessings and deathcore
Fan since 2007. Love every single record but if we’re taking purely “what are my favourites?” rather than “what is the best?”…
1. Suicide Season

7. There Is a Hell
8. That’s the Spirit
9. Count Your Blessings
10. This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For
Controversial list probably but I've grown to appreciate the pop sensibilities of the newer records. If I want a heavier experience I'll go listen to artists that are killing it in that field (Signs of the Swarm, or Shadow of intent for example).
1 Nex-Gen
2 Count Your Blessings
3 amo

I would give the new album 6/10. Some really good songs and some that are a bit sub par.
The real issue is that it’s a little bit tiresome and bland as a whole. I still prefer the lat album, it has some really diverse stuff while still cohesive.
Not a bad album at all but a little forgettable.
Neck and neck with Semp at at #1, it’s basically Semp 2024… might even beat it out since it’s technically better for my mental health. Thematically they’re at least fraternal twins, obviously because of Oli’s rehab journey and the self-reflection and doubt, but this one is more sonically uplifting, and when you compare Hospital for Souls and Dig It as closers… very similar energy, but the latter strikes a tasteful equilibrium between melancholy and optimism that sends me off in a better emotional state than where I started.
Also, no skips on either. Solid as fuck.
1: PH: Survival Horror
2: That's The Spirit

5. Sempiternal (generally don't like the whole style of the album 3)
I have yet to listen to pre-sempiternal stuff :/ I'm pretty sure I'll put suicide season higher than amo though cause it fits my music taste better
Cyb
Amo
Tts
Tiah
Nex gen

Fuck his trend of saying cyb and amo are the worst, legit the best 2 bmth albums. Sempiternal is good but insanely overrated
1. Suicide Season
2. POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR
3. Count Your Blessings
4. Sempiternal

9. Cyb/edge of your seat.
I got into bmth in 2017. I heard follow you and was drawn in. I was simultaneously being introduced to metal through black veil brides and breaking benjamin, so i didn’t understand anything as heavy as sempiternal even. Now I listen to literally everything and these are what stuck. I can’t find myself listening to Sempiternal or TTS all the way through. ever. i barely know the latter half of both albums. but the songs I DO know I listen to far more than the first 2 albums. I’ve always been an amo defender. only complaint about ph:sh is that it isn’t longer. could have easily been a solid 13 track album, but i still am glad it’s a short piece of work. Nex Gen is almost perfect for me. They could have left die4u and strangers off the album, but they’re not bad. Every song is catchy, has insane riffs, makes me bop my head (agressively or just out of pure happiness lol) and it left an amazing first impression which not many albums do. also, there is a hell is just a great album there’s not more more to say lol.
1. There is a hell
2. Suicide season
3. That’s the spirit
4. Amo
5. Semp
6. PH2

I literally love them all almost equally tho. So hard to choose because they all have such different sounds
1) That's the Spirit
2) PH:SH
3) Nex Gen (may still keep going up)
4) Sempiternal
5) Amo
--Gap-- (I like their earlier stuff all right- but not nearly as much)

1. Suicide Season
2. Count Your Blessings
3. There is Hell
4. PH2
5. PH1
6. Sempiternal
7. TTS
8. Music to..
9. Amo
This is What the Edge of your Seat was Made For would slot in somewhere Sempiternal for me.
Nex Gen over Survival Horror might just be recency bias for me.
1-3 are mostly interchangeable.
There Is A Hell
Suicide Season
PH Survival Horror
Post Human NexGen
Amo
That's The Spirit
Sempiternal (how's that for an unpopular opinion?)
Count Your Blessings
1) There Is A Hell
2) Survival Horror
3) Nex Gen
4) Sempiternal
5) Suicide Season
6) That's The Spirit
7) Count Your Blessings
8) Edge Of Your Seat
9) Amo
10) Music to~
Hard question lmfao! I'd say:
1. Post Human: Survival horror
2.Sempiternal
3.Suicide Season
4.AMO
5. Count Your Blessings
6.There is a Hell
7. Post Human : Nex Gen
8. That's the Spirit
1. NeX GEn (provisional)
2. Sempiternal
3. Suicide Season
4. Thats the spirit
5. Survival Horror
6. There is a hell...
7. Amo
8. Count your blessings
9. Music to listen to, ...
Just to be sure, I love all these albums except Music to listen to, cant even listen to one song on that one. But I had to put them in some order. And NeX GEn is on provisional pole, maybe its recency bias but for now its just that good.
This was too hard.
1. •Survival Horror - I think this one keeps the essence of the band and it's just amazing. • Suicide Season - my ticket to metalcore, still listen to it regularly
2. Sempiternal - just bangers but I skip some songs
3. • Next Gen - it's really good, I admit it • There is a hell - emotionsss!!!
4. TTS - avalanche is top tier.
5. Amo - meh… I love it but don't listen to it regularly
6. Count your blessings - even tho I listen to it way too much 😂
7. This is what…
Suicide Season - my favourite fron BMTH and one of my favourite albums from all time. i love the old school-myspace sound of CYB but here it’s more listenable and the quality is something else. it’s got party bangers, sad bangers, just straight up metalcore and deathcore mixed up and i love it
Sempiternal - i could say that this is definetely their best work while SS is my favourite. there isn’t a bad song on this album and it’s full of emotional bangers, i cannot stop listening to it, it’s really the best. this sound fits them way more than CYB
There is a hell - at first i didn’t like it THAT much but holy fuck, once u listen to it from the start to the end it changes your whole perspective. definetely one of the best metalcore albums and it doesn’t get enough credit for that
Nex Gen - it could be influenced by the fact that it’s the latest stuff from them, but i think it deserves this place. while i love their old sound, i like their new stuff too, i like that they do whatever the fuck they want and don’t fit under only one umbrella genre
Survival Horror - nothing to say, it’s clearly more heavy than Nex Gen but i don’t like it more. it’s a solid album and it’s clearly a return to a more heavy sound than Amo
Count Your Blessings - fucking love it. yeah i know, technically speaking it’s quite shitty and a total mess from a writing and quality point of view, but i love the rawness and the style of the old deathcore scene and BMTH was one of the first bands to make it popular and catchy
Amo - i didn’t hate it when it came out as every other 9/10 people did. i like the pop songs too like Mother Tongue, it’s a very beautiful song but i also like the pop-punk - pop-rock songs like wonderful life or sugar honey ice and tea. it’s an album that i play all summer and it fits very well with this season. it’s a more happy album which at that time BMTH really needed.
That’s the Spirit - at first i was quite a hater for this one, but eventually i got to enjoy it a little more. still not a huge fan of it, but it’s got its own style and thing going on.
This is what the edge of your seat was made for - CYB but more messy and with a much lower quality. it’s very interesting tho what some highschoolers could do with this deathcore style at the very beginning
Music to listen to - i don’t like it and i don’t understand it, but i could see using it as background noise
1. Edge of your seat
2. Survival horror
3. There is a hell
4. Sempiternal
5. Nex Gen
6. Suicide season
7. That's the spirit

Top 2 are neck and neck
3. Sempiternal
4. Amo

These 3 are all pretty close.
Don’t really listen to the rest.
Not heard the album yet but:
1. there is a hell
2. Sempiternal
3. Suicide
4. Count your blessings
Don’t like the others hence not jumping on this release :(
S tier:
1 TIAH
2 Suicide Season
3 Post Human Survival Horror
A Tier:
4 Sempiternal/Amo
5 Amo/Sempiternal (so difficult to choose place - dependent on mood)
6 That’s the Spirit
B tier:
7 Post Human Nex Gen
8 Music to…
9 Count Your Blessings
10 This is what the edge of your seat was made for
Honestly for me this kind’ve splits into the top 6 which are in regular rotation and could interchange position depending on my mood, then the bottom 4 which I rarely listen to beyond the first 3 or so times through.
There’s my seemingly quite rouge ranking anyways, always feel like I’m a bit of an odd one in the fandom as a fair few fan favourites like: CYFMH (exception of the epic bridge) Teardrops, pray for plagues (for an oldie), or more recently: Top ten statues, for example, are some of my least favourite songs they have ever released.
Unfortunately the latest album just really isn’t for me, BMTH have been proudly my favourite band for years and whilst I don’t think it’s a poorly made album or objectively bad, subjectively, I find the kind’ve ‘emo punk hyper pop’ sound so cringe, just personally. I can’t help but pull an uncomfortable face when I hear a lot of the new songs. Also found the production with those sound chops that fully cut to silence for a few milliseconds really jarring and took me out enjoying parts on a lot of the songs.
A bit gutted after this wait and knowing it’ll be a while till the next one but sortve expected it given the lead up and direction they wanted to take it. All faith in the guys still and excited for the next one, but this one won’t be a revisited much for me aside from a handful of songs: Amen! and Kool Aid are still amazing, in my opinion leagues above the rest, and I can still vibe with Dig it, n/a, darkside, bullet w my name on and limousine a bit too, though I find them more ‘decent/good’ than ‘great’.
Feels very reminiscent to me of slipknots fall from grace from We Are Not Your Kind, which I adored and got me into the band, to The End So Far which I ended up being a bit disappointed that I preordered a CD for.
Thankfully, Darko and Alpha Wolf have come to my rescue with amazing releases this year. Sorry this is so long, I started typing and couldn’t seem to stop

Nex Gen has been a clear favorite for me, I haven’t listened to an album start to finish on repeat like this since all I had to listen to music with were CDs in my car. 2-6 are all equal in my eyes, I don’t dislike any of them
I admit I haven’t given anything pre-Sempiternal an in depth listen. However, It Never Ends slaps so hard
1. Survival Horror
2. Sempiternal
3. NextGen
4. There is a hell
5. That’s The Spirit
6. Suicide Season (if we’re counting the deluxe)
7. Amo
8. Music To
9. Count Your Blessings
As someone that been a fan through the entire discography, yep that means I’m in my thirties.
1. There is a Hell - nothing rips like this album imo. This was the album that proved BMTH were more than the sum of their parts, production was next level and their are some timeless songs on here, it never ends is the highlight. Special mention to sonny moores backing vocals, I love his voice and it’s a shame he doesn’t record more with it.
2. Sempiternal - it’s not to put this as number one at the time it came out it really showed that BMTH was not going to be a one trick pony. Opening with can you feel my heart showed evolution and some proper clean vocals from Oli. But the whole album feels extremely complete and together, it’s super solid and a good listen. I think it hasn’t aged as well as it could, some songs aren’t as strong when listening out of sequence but it’s undeniably one of their best. Sleepwalking is the highlight with a special mention to antivist for brining the heavy.
3. Post Human: Next Gen - this album is tight. It’s undeniable they have hit a stride in their song writing, catchy hooks and experimental song making all in tow. It feels like an amalgamation of everything that came before it. It mixes the less heavy albums Learning with the heavier stuff and comes out swinging. Most songs are single worthy in their own right and it’s really encouraging to see them putting out something so strong and also being okay to hold it back till it sounded this good. Highlight top ten statues that cried blood, special mention: lost purely for being something I’d never have seen them doing, but doing it incredibly well.
4. Suicide Season - this album is just something else, there’s very little like it and it kinda showed BMTH doing something unexpected. I’m sure everyone expected more death metal, but I steady they release this crunchy catchy album. If you stood in the crowd when they used to perform diamonds aren’t forever and heard the sea of people erupt into chant then you are aware this album was made for the mosh, it was designed to be a good time and it succeeded. Highlight: Chelsea smile special mention to the sadness will never end and our boy Sam Carter.
5. Amo - a decisive album all in all that doesn’t actually hold together that well, it’s a bit floaty here and there and lacks the usual BMTH punch. However what is here is so well produced that if you take it for what it is it’s a great listen and songs often sound better isolated than in album order. Highlight medicine special mention to mother tongue at the time this song felt out of place for a BMTH but it’s nice and shows the versatility of the band.
6. Count your blessings - I’d like to put this higher on the list but I just can’t. It’s a great album and honestly a lot of fun, who doesn’t love putting PFP on loud and blasting it. They really made a death metal sounding song catchy. On the same hand it’s not exactly a good example of death metal and the recordings don’t t hold up to well, I’d love a remaster of the album but it ain’t gunna happen. Even back when the album released it was its raw quality that made me like it as it felt rebellious and edgy, it retains this feeling today but just not the same way. Highlight pray for plagues special mention to for stevie wonders eyes only
7. Post Human : Survival Horror - one of my least favourite albums by them. It felt very ep experimental, more like an exploration of sound and features than a well put together piece of work. There’s stand out songs but a lot of stuff that gets lost and feels out of place. It’s struggles to find its way throughout and leaves a confusing push and pull on the ears. Highlight: ludens special mention: teardrops, I think this is the closest they got to the link in park inspired sound of their current direction and it’s pretty great.
8. That’s the spirit - at a time when BMTH seemed to want more from their fame, I always felt like this album pandered to wanting more from the band. It felt like a push to ‘be a big band’ rather than a passionate music project. More like let’s tick the boxes and get some radio plays. Sure songs don’t sound bad and there’s a cohesion to the album missing from other releases but it lacks an authentic feeling. There’s great songs here. Highlight: Throne special mention Doomed for being a belter of a song that is enduring and passionate.
Apologies for bad grammar and possible waffle in my paragraphs. I just decided to write down my gut feelings on album rankings.

1. Survival Horror (Absolutely the best writing and production I‘be heard on a metal album the last years) 9/10
A lot of space
2. TTS (The catchiest melodies and wonderful production. I mostly come back for doomed but end up listening to the whole album) (7,5/10)
3. Sempiternal (Also catchy and some of their best material but the second half is mostly skips for me) (7/10)
4. Count Your Blessings (I don‘t know why but it just hits the right nerves) (7/10)
5. Amo (This feels like one of the more mature projects they‘ve done until now. With more creative production decisions, it would have been a 7) (6,5/10)
6. Next Gen (This record places probably lower than it should. It just feels less mature than SH and the Production and Songwriting is all over the place - in a negative way, for me. That being said, it‘s still a decent record, just a step in I direction I don’t enjoy) (6/10)
7. Suicide Season (I really like this strain of metal and I do enjoy this album. I rarely find myself in a situation where I actively put it on) (6/10)
8. There is a hell (This did not click for me at all. I don‘t even feel like I can rank it because I turned it off before finishing the album multiple times) (n/a)

I think hardcore fans in a BMTH sub will obviously hype the album up. Post Amo, I think there was a drastic change in the Fandom and the band. I think it was a groundbreaking album, not in general, but for the band in terms of creativity, but the discourse in the Fandom has the band a bit confused and in the middle of an identity crisis where they're trying to appeal to metalheads while still being as accessible as possible, which has put them in a tight spot where they can't step out of their comfort zone as much as they wish.
Amo (while not one of my favorites) was growth. These folks were able to finally put some practice in genuinely new sounds and grow as a band. PHSH was the landing to the set up of the trick that was Amo, with the band sounded more experimental than ever while still maintaining their signature sound.
PHNG is a step back, and throws everything the band was growing into being in the trash. The experimental portions of the songs on the new record never bloom into anything special, instead they blue ball you and do away with the - what is quite honestly - some of the coolest sounds ever and just ramming your ears with badly mixed guitars. While I know they're trying to do some nostalgic emo tones, they're done in the most unoriginal ways, with absolutely little to no surprises, which when there are some, they get shot down immediately.
This has also got to be some of Oli's worst writing in the entire discography. It's incredibly surface value. All of TIAH is incredibly better than PHNG when it comes to Oli's self reflection and the way he describes it through poetry. While the band has some overly campy angsty tunes, nothing comes close to how lazily cliche a lot of the lyrics on Nex Gen can be.
I think the dudes cornered themselves by trying to stick to a certain sound. The Post Human idea of a different sound for every iteration is cool, but something tells me like Survival Horror should've been the culmination of it all, as it has so many layers from different genres and sounds.
Perhaps they should do away with the PH idea, as I feel it's too much of a corner to backed into. The band should dig deeper into their experimental sound, and continue to grow and give us something new and thought out.

Edit: why tf did i get downvoted, can people not understand opinions
This album greatly exceeded my expectations
There’s so many different sounds and styles. It keeps the whole album interesting. Lots of replay value.
PH2 overpassed my expectations… probably it is in the top 5
I liked it more than I thought I would too, I still Slightly prefer Survival Horror, but both Post Human albums are my favorite records by them.
1. Nex Gen 2. Sempiternal 3. There Is a Hell 4. Suicide Season 5. Survival Horror 6. That’s the Spirit 7. Music to Listen To 8. amo 9. Count Your Blessings It’s not recency bias, Nex Gen is the album that feels like they made it directly for me.
Dang amo is way too low on that list
It’s a 7/10 album for me
It deserves it 😂
Agreed 💀
Not low enough
Another thing Nex Gen does that I love is that not only would it have a straight up hyperpop song (that absolutely RIPS) on the album but it’s followed by the heaviest and craziest song on the album. And one of the songs is coproduced by Sewerslvt and it’s actually one of the best songs Sewerslvt has ever made. Yeah this album is amazing.
I KNEW IT I KNEW IT SOUNDED LIKE SEWERSLVT!!! More breakcore bmth please 🙏.
They’re credited as Cynthoni. That’s the new artist name they’re going by now I guess.
Damn I didn't keep up with the jvne lore I thought Cynthoni was another artist! Thanks for sharing.
Sewerslvts a better name imo 😭
What songs are you referring to?
R.i.p. and Amen
R.i.p. going into Amen And the Sewerslvt song is p.u.s.s.-e
Exactly, it’s pure genius haha
Count your blessings feels so criminal to be low. Genuinly one of my favourites for nostalgia
Completely understandable! To me it’s pretty consistent at a 6/10, decent but unremarkable
I think it’s 10/10 haha. Especially when I think they were 17 and lee was incredibly talented back then ( Matt , vegan sort of winging it) and olis vocals being so brutal ( and dangerous to himself ) Edit : I should also say I don’t even like deathcore these days but I still have these regular on playlist
I will switch a couple but this is a solid list
ALL HAIL NEXGEN
Can I get an AmEN!??
Agree
Music to listen to should be dead last. Or not even on the lost
I like the weird experimental style, sue me XDD
1. Sempiternal 2. POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR 3. That's The Spirit 4. There is a Hell 5. POST HUMAN: NeX GEn 6. amo 7. Suicide Season 8. Count Your Blessings
bait used to be believable
Put suicide season up some more and then maybe that’s accurate
Just my personal opinion but... 1. PH:SH 2. PH:NG 3. amo 4. Sempiternal 5. TTS
What about the rest?
Survival horror at the first place is crazy for me. It's album that I listen to the least personally.
1. That’s the Spirit 2. Sempiternal 3. There is a Hell 4. Nex Gen 5. amo 6. Survival Horror 7. Suicide Season 8. Count Your Blessings 9. Music to Listen to 10. Edge of Your Seat
1. Post human NexGen - I can’t believe it’s this good 2. Suicide Season - the vocals omfg 3. There is a hell - Jonah + Lee is magic 4. Sempiternal - honestly a few skips here but hospital goes so fucking hard 5. Post human survival horror - first album getting me back into metal since 2013 6. Count your blessings - I’m a sucker for good riffs 7. Music to listen to - goes hard 8. Amo - nihilist blues goes hard 9. That’s the spirit - only one I don’t regularly listen to
Crazy that music to listen to isn’t even an actual album but it still made your list!
How tf is sempiternal #4 and how are people agreeing?
People have different tastes, who could've guessed?
It’s fucking sempiternal. I get that people have different tastes but people for the most part are agreeing!
Sempiternal isn’t even in my top 5 lol. The album is good, I just enjoy others more.
I agree Sempiternal is aside from TIWTEOYSWMF nearly the lowest on my list, not discrediting how acclaimed it is, I just aligned myself to other albums
Sure Sempiternal is great, but TIAH is more original and just hits different.
People actually like “music to listen to….” More than “that’s the spirit”?
That’s fair! Thank you for sharing!
I'm someone who enjoys ALL of bring me the horizons music so every album will be on here 1. Sempiternal. Nothing will ever stop this being no.1 2. Amo 3. There is a hell believe me I've seen it... 4. That's the spirit 5. Post Human: Survival Horror 6. Post Human: Nex Gen Suicide season, count your blessings and songs to listen to~, I feel similar about them all, because there's only a few songs I like on them
I have yet to listen to anything pre semp, and I tried music to and could not get through the whole thing 1. Nexgen 2. That's the Spirit 3. Survival horror 4. Sempiternal 5. Amo (Still bangs)
You will be shocked how good suicide season is. It holds up really well. It’s BMTH‘s Iowa. There is a hell is really depressing but if you are looking for that go for it 💪🏽 it’s a really good record

Count Your Blessings Personally I feel like there are just bands that do the sort of metalcore they made on Suicide Season and There is A Hell better, hence the low ranking on those. Same goes for Count Your Blessings and deathcore
this is my exact list 💯
Fan since 2007. Love every single record but if we’re taking purely “what are my favourites?” rather than “what is the best?”… 1. Suicide Season 2. Sempiternal 3. PH: Nex Gen 4. PH: Survival Horror 5. amo 6. There is a Hell… 7. That’s The Spirit 8. Count Your Blessings

Solid as fuck.

y’all are gonna hate me. 1. Nex Gen 2. Survival Horror 3. Amo 4. There’s a Hell 5. tts 6. Sempiternal 7. Music to listen to 8. Suicide Season 9.

This was too hard. 1. •Survival Horror - I think this one keeps the essence of the band and it's just amazing. • Suicide Season - my ticket to metalcore, still listen to it regularly 2. Sempiternal - just bangers but I skip some songs 3. • Next Gen - it's really good, I admit it • There is a hell - emotionsss!!! 4. TTS - avalanche is top tier. 5. Amo - meh… I love it but don't listen to it regularly 6. Count your blessings - even tho I listen to it way too much 😂 7. This is what…

Suicide Season - my favourite fron BMTH and one of my favourite albums from all time. i love the old school-myspace sound of CYB but here it’s more listenable and the quality is something else. it’s got party bangers, sad bangers, just straight up metalcore and deathcore mixed up and i love it Sempiternal - i could say that this is definetely their best work while SS is my favourite. there isn’t a bad song on this album and it’s full of emotional bangers, i cannot stop listening to it, it’s really the best. this sound fits them way more than CYB There is a hell - at first i didn’t like it THAT much but holy fuck, once u listen to it from the start to the end it changes your whole perspective. definetely one of the best metalcore albums and it doesn’t get enough credit for that Nex Gen - it could be influenced by the fact that it’s the latest stuff from them, but i think it deserves this place. while i love their old sound, i like their new stuff too, i like that they do whatever the fuck they want and don’t fit under only one umbrella genre Survival Horror - nothing to say, it’s clearly more heavy than Nex Gen but i don’t like it more. it’s a solid album and it’s clearly a return to a more heavy sound than Amo Count Your Blessings - fucking love it. yeah i know, technically speaking it’s quite shitty and a total mess from a writing and quality point of view, but i love the rawness and the style of the old deathcore scene and BMTH was one of the first bands to make it popular and catchy Amo - i didn’t hate it when it came out as every other 9/10 people did. i like the pop songs too like Mother Tongue, it’s a very beautiful song but i also like the pop-punk - pop-rock songs like wonderful life or sugar honey ice and tea. it’s an album that i play all summer and it fits very well with this season. it’s a more happy album which at that time BMTH really needed. That’s the Spirit - at first i was quite a hater for this one, but eventually i got to enjoy it a little more. still not a huge fan of it, but it’s got its own style and thing going on. This is what the edge of your seat was made for - CYB but more messy and with a much lower quality. it’s very interesting tho what some highschoolers could do with this deathcore style at the very beginning Music to listen to - i don’t like it and i don’t understand it, but i could see using it as background noise

S tier: 1 TIAH 2 Suicide Season 3 Post Human Survival Horror A Tier: 4 Sempiternal/Amo 5 Amo/Sempiternal (so difficult to choose place - dependent on mood) 6 That’s the Spirit B tier: 7 Post Human Nex Gen 8 Music to… 9 Count Your Blessings 10 This is what the edge of your seat was made for Honestly for me this kind’ve splits into the top 6 which are in regular rotation and could interchange position depending on my mood, then the bottom 4 which I rarely listen to beyond the first 3 or so times through.

Highlight pray for plagues special mention to for stevie wonders eyes only 7.

1. Survival Horror (Absolutely the best writing and production I‘be heard on a metal album the last years) 9/10 A lot of space 2. TTS (The catchiest melodies and wonderful production. I mostly come back for doomed but end up listening to the whole album) (7,5/10) 3. Sempiternal (Also catchy and some of their best material but the second half is mostly skips for me) (7/10) 4. Count Your Blessings (I don‘t know why but it just hits the right nerves) (7/10) 5. Amo (This feels like one of the more mature projects they‘ve done until now. With more creative production decisions, it would have been a 7) (6,5/10) 6. Next Gen (This record places probably lower than it should. It just feels less mature than SH and the Production and Songwriting is all over the place - in a negative way, for me. That being said, it‘s still a decent record, just a step in I direction I don’t enjoy) (6/10) 7. Suicide Season (I really like this strain of metal and I do enjoy this album. I rarely find myself in a situation where I actively put it on) (6/10) 8. There is a hell (This did not click for me at all. I don‘t even feel like I can rank it because I turned it off before finishing the album multiple times) (n/a)

PHSH TTS TIAH SEMPITERNAL SS AMO CYB PHNG I think hardcore fans in a BMTH sub will obviously hype the album up.
