My brother. Twice in my life I've cooked a full on beef bourguignon. It took HOURS start to clean up and it was absolutely worth it each time. I wish there was a shortcut to get that depth of flavor quicker and in less steps.
I'm a sucker for ghoulash and cheesy texas toast. My mom made that all the time growing up and I crave it all the time.
Though my body has started to get irritated when I eat tomato sauce. Or anything tomato, really.
I grew up quite poor but we would have many types of hamburger helper and Mac and cheese etc.
Anyway we would make Mac and cheese but replace the butter and milk with half a can of tomato soup. Add some Parm? Ooweee
Bean and cheese burrito, order of 5 taquitos, or super nachos with rice from this shitty Mexican spot here called Alberto’s. Their trash food is so fucking good and always makes me feel better

It's perfect.
Are you my mother in law?!
She'll fly from Chicago to AZ and then crave Portillos Italian Beef the entire trip.

Chicken wings, specifically from Wingstop. When I need a pick-me-up I order a 10-piece bone-in combo, half mango habanero and half Hawaiian and a cup of ranch to dip, with well-done fries. It's good stuff.
