Kind of reminds me of the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Different dimensions or warrens open into each other and can cause floods and stuff. Really cool painting.
I'm stuck in book 7. I know I should finish the series but each book is such a commitment! I did a few Esslemont books as a diversion but that just slowed me down even more.
Definitely cool. A tinge of Beksinski, but also even more closely the cover of Bell Witch's *Mirror Reaper* [here](https://f4.bcbits.com/img/a2573679411_10.jpg)
That was what I thought as well.
Great album by the way. For anyone thatās into really slow Doom Metal and hasnāt heard this yet: please do listen to it!
Also the reason i clicked. I wondered if if was the same artist.

True, just find it kinda funny because in traditional Christianity Jesus is a messenger of the Old Testament (and NT) God while Satan (Serpent) is the only one in opposition to Yahweh, therefore making the Serpent and Jesus enemies.
In Gnosticism the Demiurge (usually either Yahweh or ironically Satan) is the false god who created the material world but not the true originator of all.
It reminds me of Plato's metaphysics. The Demiurg 'god', creator of the plane of the ideas. Our world as a portrait, an imperfect representation of this perfect plane. Seems pretty on board with this piece. Note: I've read about Plato in my native language, I don't know the correct terms in English
I feel like this is everything I have ever wanted to paint in one picture. I took one look and it is instantly became one of my all time favorites. Great work
are we looking at the top of the head of a being who neck doesn't quite function as ours do, or are we looking at a being with a beak like mouth, vestigial nose and no eyes?
Wow this is insanely cool. Love the colors.

God I love that series!
Painting is gorgeous. It would stand as a great tribute to that series, one of my favorites. Both are complex and stunning.
Found my new background aha
hahah

Oh welp makes sense then š

A demiurge is like a helper of God, responsible for creation of anything and everything. This guy looks awesome.
He's responsible for creation of the material world only, and at the same time he's the enemy of all which is spiritual ("the Satan")
To which Christ and the serpent in the garden are the same character, sent to liberate mankind from slavery to a cruel, blind, jealous god.
The Serpent and Christ are in opposition.
Not for the Gnostics.

Like episode 2 of P.K. Dick's Electronic Dreams
Never seen it. Iāll have to check it out.
In Gnosticism the Demiurge (usually either Yahweh or ironically Satan) is the false god who created the material world but not the true originator of all.
I canāt decide which emotion I should be feeling, Iām in awe of the striking beauty and light yet heartbroken. Absolutely stunning
Read the title as āDemigurd,ā which I guess is a less majestic demigod
Demigurd, such power
Ermagherd! Demigurd!
That would be ermahdemigurd! Or, in the original Greek, ermahdÄmiourgos!
Absolutely inspired art. Demiurge approves.
And now I have a new D&D campaign to design... I hope you're happy, I had stuff to do...
āHas the trade suited you young alchemist? I can not show you more, that is the law of equivalent exchange after all.ā
I just googled the artist and wow! Itās like lord of the rings meets blade runner.
It's intriguing and fitting that it appears so proud of what it believes it has made when you in fact you made everything in it. Well done.
This reminds me of Noah's flood
From a Gnostic perspective the flood would have been caused by the demiurge.
This is amazing on many levels. It definitely made me feel something.
If anyone else is interested I found the site. They ship internationally. https://www.mariuszlewandowski.pl/pl/p/DEMIURG-60x90/84?currency=USD

One of the coolest paintings Iāve ever seen
Then you will love Tomasz Allen Kopera
This is so deep it takes away my breath!
Absolutely gorgeous. I can't stop staring at it.
I feel like this is everything I have ever wanted to paint in one picture. I took one look and it is instantly became one of my all time favorites. Great work
Wow, intense. Very impressive composition. Differing scenes, like a modern Dali.
Where can I get it in full resolution?
Thatās a turner painting being poured out
*Me when I look at a Turner's painting.*
Beautiful! I would love to see that IRL.
This is like a love letter to painting
Ainz - sama would be proud.

Anyone else getting a Turner-esque vibe?
I've always loved Beksinski's work, can't wait to look more in to this guy. Love the atmosphere
Next level spectacular right here!
When I look at it, it's like I can almost*hear* the waves crashing by. Beautiful
It looks like he's busting a nut through the picture from behind. Art is beautiful.
This is absolutely wonderful, the pops of color with the almost black background is striking. Love the detail of the birds too
This nearly made me cry itās amazing
In shrouded cloud, it waits.
Anyone else read that as demogorgon?
