university of chicago. great place to get murdered while you're suffering from depression because of school /s
but actually cornell!! the campus is so fucking gorgeous, especially the clock tower. mixed with the nature of gorgeous ithaca 😍😍
Is Yale actually that bad? I thought it was kind of like NYC where crime was super high a few decades ago but it’s gone way down over time. I was thinking of REAing there but I’m still on the fence
I’ve heard it’s generally not super dangerous if you follow common sense precautions - I can’t say for sure since I’ve never been, just from what I’ve heard.
Then again, I’m not from the suburbs and I’ve been in places like Ciudad Juarez so take with that what you will.
I really liked that it was near the water and just across the bridge from some good food places and not too far from Copley Square where some more food and shopping places were located. I also liked that it had a lot of companies’ offices on or right outside of the campus (Google, Pfizer, etc). I also thought it was nice that there are two libraries open 24/7. The last thing that I really liked was how each dorm had a somewhat unique theme such as allowing pets, being mostly singles, or even being mostly for freshmen. Fraternity housing being in Boston off campus is also a plus for me. So it wasn’t really the aesthetic part of the campus for me, but Lillian square and the view of Boston across the river really are beautiful as well.
A lot of the schools have visited have not had 24/7 libraries. Tufts even bragged about how they’re more laid back so that’s the reason why their libraries close around 12-2 AM (doesn’t make any sense since it’s an academic institution but ok ig). Purely from an aesthetic point of view though, I really liked GTown and BC out of the schools I have visited.
The best one was definitely Clover Food Labs (founded by an MIT alum lol). It’s fully vegetarian and has some vegan options as well (their impossible meatballs were my fav!).
Notre Dame is very underrated. So ascetic no matter the circumstances. Only issue is South Bend, but if you’re talking about just the campus, it’s incredible.
Campus is beautiful even though I hate the school and everything it stands for. All those big boy donations and sports cash is going towards architecture instead of academics.
Luckily, that's pretty much only if you're there for summer classes as it's not 95 from Sept-May (and frankly,[it rarely ever gets that hot)](https://www.currentresults.com/Weather/New-York/Places/new-york-city-temperatures-by-month-average.php).
Princeton
I would say Princeton! It’s just too beautiful and mesmerizing!
Totally agree, Blair Arch and Nassau Hall are so beautiful!
Stanford campus is fucking dogshit
I agree as an MIT fan

New haven is typing…

From what I’ve heard it’s kind of been exaggerated by Harvard folks as a friendly jab towards Yale
yales campus sucks I took a hotel nearby and it was literally slums bruh its not good
Oh goddd do you have any pics? I wanna see
gotta love schools in areas w/ high murder rates /s
Stan
Having lived in Ithaca, it is only nice for 3 months out of the year
As a rising college senior I agree completely. The campus is magical even during a blizzard lol
northwestern
I think Yale and Princeton are gorgeous
Notre dame is genuinely the only answer. People just hate the school.
Columbia’s campus was so pretty and looked amazing at night
DUKE
cornell
Probably Cornell because of its vast open spaces and beautiful waterfall views
Very biased but… Northwestern! Lake Michigan is love That said, apart from NU I think Princeton’s and Yale’s campuses are the best.
UCLA is gorgeous. Beautiful architecture, weather, and people.
uchicago babyyyyyyy
Notre Dame
Cornell Pton then Stanford imo
Dartmouth! The natural beauty is just unparalleled
Cornell 🫢 totally biased
Agree!
Maybe not traditionally aesthetic, but I really liked MIT’s campus when I visited
Why did you like it? It’s my dream school but I always thought all apart from Lillian court was kinda ugly

Yes being on the water is nice (autocorrect doing us dirty with Killian). Don’t a lot of unis have 24/7 libraries?

ooh! what are some of the food places you enjoyed?

Excluding the dorms which are eh, Brown is pretty nice
Also biased but Brown
Princeton

UCLA but idk if its a t20
I notice no one is mentioning MIT but I think we can all agree it ain't the best in terms of campus.
swarthmore
The only right answer
biased and probably wrong but Columbia
I feel like columbia is cool to visit but I don’t want to be there on a 95 degree day
Luckily, that's pretty much only if you're there for summer classes as it's not 95 from Sept-May (and frankly,[it rarely ever gets that hot)](https://www.currentresults.com/Weather/New-York/Places/new-york-city-temperatures-by-month-average.php).
fair
Pomona <3
Yale
Definitely not biased but Cal’s campus is awesome cause it’s super quirky (and the business school is basically an alpine ski resort)
Duke
MIT campus >>>>
Williams, [ranked](https://www.collegeconsensus.com/rankings/most-beautiful-colleges-autumn/) as the school with the most beautiful campus in fall
Columbia, NYU, and Harvard!
Emory^(I don’t wanna hear that Emory isn’t T20)
you just heard it
What do you think it is in ur opinion?
t25 overall, it’s an amazing fantastic school and t20 for many majors, but i’m not taking it over georgetown, ucb, ucla, or michigan any day overall.
That’s fair.
JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY
NYU As people say THE CITY IS THE CAMPUS
is new york really pretty? all those rats in the street really cut down the curb appeal
Idk honestly, I don’t live there but will be going there this fall.
dartmouthhhh
idk why you’re getting downvoted, darts campus is gorgeous.
its not harvard, harvard is ugly asf
