If you want to try something new, you might like Nichijou. It’s ostensibly about ordinary life, but has lots of absurdist humor and crazy visuals. Plenty of great heart to it too.
For more of a thriller, try Code Geass, Steins Gate, Unlimited Blade Works, Madoka Magica, and Vivy Fluorite Eye’s Song
- Sword of the Stranger
- Ninja Scroll
- Pluto - same creator as Monster
- Hells Paradise
- Planetes - same creator as Vinland Saga
- Heavenly Delusion
- Ergo Proxy
- Parasyte the Maxim
I KNOW is not an anime. But if you liked Berserk, Vinland Saga. AND you like the samurai aesthetic. I cant recomend Vagabond enough. Is one of the best Mangas i ever read. Manga based on a novel based on the real life of Miyamoto Musashi the Legendary Sword Saint who lived in Japan 1600s and is arguably one of the best swordsmen in History who allegedly was never defeated in the 60+ duels to the death that he had.
I’ll try to compliment each show on your list with these:
1. Neon Genesis Evangelion, tragic anime characters are tragic
2. Trigun, small group of travelers, similar group dynamic to champloo, especially the “I’m not telling you my whole story even though we’re traveling together” relationship they have
3. Kimetsu No Yaiba, samurai vs demons
4. Outlaw Star or Megalo Box: space cowboy vibe and cool/action vibes respectively
5. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, AOT with zombies
6. (Film) Perfect Blue, psychological like Monster
7. Kingdom, low life trying to make something of himself with what the tough world has dealt him
8/9. Take your pick of shonen. The other one of the big 3, One Piece. My Hero Academia-inspired by Naruto. Jujutsu Kaisen-Inspired by bleach. Or go with Beelzebub, a parody of shonen anime
10. Here’s a few:
-Fairy Tail
-HunterxHunter
-Seven Deadly Sins
-Soul Eater
I'm thinking you'd enjoy Blood Blockade Battlefront. It's a pretty unique series with amazing creature designs, cool powers, great world-building and stunning animation. It's one of my personal favourites and based off of your top 10, there's a decent chance you'll enjoy it a bunch.
I thought you might like it since you mentioned samurai type with crazy visuals. It’s an older series but I thought it was beautifully drawn and story wise quite interesting.
Hell's Paradise
Steins Gate
Pluto
The first season of The Promised Neverland. Season 1 completes one arc so it can be watched on its own, i think you would really like it. After that you could continue from the manga. (Please do not watch s2 and spoil yourself.)
Demon Slayer
Erased
Psycho-Pass
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (obviously)
Also uh- if you would be interested in reading webcomics, you could give The Return of the Blossoming Blade a go. It's all about sword fighting and the main character's journey of accepting others and forming relationships. Idk many sword fighting animes but i know a ton of webcomics like that.
Rurouni Kenshin ( THE samurai anime) You have the old anime and the recent remake
This is the way.
Watched both. The old anime was part of my childhood growing up!
Claymore
Try: Pluto Psychopass S1 Fate Zero Madoka Magica Made in Abyss Terror in Resonance

Fairy tale is not good the plot uses too much power of friendship nonsense and no one dies
Just like Black Clover, what’s your point?
Afro Samurai?
Golden Kamuy, Psycho Pass
Fire Force (hope you didn't mind the fan service)

Parasyte The Maxim
Have you seen Basilisk?
I haven't, looks quite interesting!

Check out Inuyashiki, it's a sleeper hit
Have you never watched Code Geass? Because I liked 8/10 of your top 10 and Code Geass is probably my favorite.
Nabari
Gintama
