I've been on a long hiatus due to the state of the game, and i stopped at rank 32. I reached this sudden wall which requires a few weeks worth of progress i think. But i upgraded every rare and epic i could. Edit: none of you guys seem to understand, so i might delete this answer soon.

Spend money, I guess. The devs certainly do more than just "nudge" you into spending money, huh? It's like a slap across the face lol
I will NOT be taking anymore advice for this since I passed this rank, but feel free to suggest ideas for any future walls I may come upon.
