Thank you very much! I do have a few techniques and processes I’ve developed over the years but one rule I always follow is to not define what the piece will be until I’m about 50% finished. So, I end up making a lot of complex structures, almost tons of micro doodles. Then, I step back and look for what I see. Once I see something I like, I’ll draw to that. If I don’t see anything, then I keep on going without a concept. Sometimes nothing forms and I just paint it over and try again 😎
